Hou Zuquan explained, "There will be a shareholders' meeting tomorrow morning in the Bai Group's headquarters. My boss is worried something might happen and asked me to take precautions. Because of the company's image, we don't want to invite a whole group of police officers."
"Since you told me you work as a police officer, I thought I'd ask if you could come to the Bai Group's office building tomorrow morning. Just in case something happens later."
After listening to the explanation, Lu Renyi said, "I don't have any urgent cases tomorrow. If you need me there, I will come. What time should I arrive?"
"Before nine o'clock," Hou Zuquan replied quickly. "My boss said he will pay for your time and effort."
Lu Renyi chuckled when he heard this. "No need. Just treat me to a cup of coffee when it's all over."
