Silence filled the throne room of the Great Pyramid.
There was silence as everyone seemed bewildered by the statement the man had just proclaimed.
Tyrion slowly turned his head, his mismatched eyes meeting Daenerys'. The Queen was pale, her fingers digging into the fabric of her skirt until her knuckles turned white. Grey Worm and Missandei had rushed to her side, their presence a meager, mortal shield against the man lounging on the throne.
"Divinity…" Tyrion said carefully, the word tasting like ash. "Like a god?"
Harry smirked from the chair, the expression radiating a casual, terrifying warmth.
"Forgive me if I find that a little hard to believe," the dwarf continued. He wasn't trying to be insulting, he was far too smart to intentionally provoke a man who had just basically bitch smacked a dragon, but his mind wouldn't just accept something like this easily just because someone said it.
To Tyrion, gods were the desperate inventions of men who feared the dark, convenient fictions used by kings to justify their cruelty and by the poor to endure it.
"You're forgiven," Harry replied, plucking another grape from the bowl as if he hadn't just altered the reality of the room. "But simply because you don't believe in gods does not make them less real than the air you breathe, the water you drink... or in your case, Tyrion Lannister, the vast quantities of wine you consume to convince yourself the world makes sense."
Yara Greyjoy, standing near her brother, let out a sharp, skeptical scoff. "Are you truly claiming to be a god? You look like a man to me. A man with tricks, perhaps, but a man nonetheless. I've seen sorcerers in the East, they all bleed the same."
Harry's eyes shifted to her, and for a moment, the temperature in the room plummeted. This was becoming repetitive.
"I see, Words are wind to you," Harry murmured, his voice dropping an octave. "Then let's try a more… tactile medium."
He extended his right hand forward, palm facing the floor. The Unsullied tensed, their shields clicking together in a reflexive wall. Harry didn't mind. He kept eye contact with Daenerys and slowly tilted his hand to the right.
Nothing seemed to happen for about three seconds before it did.
The world moved.
A violent groaning erupted from the very foundations of the Great Pyramid. Outside, the screams of thousands rose in a sudden, panicked chorus. The floor beneath them shook as the world tilted. The massive stone chamber began to lean sharply to the right.
Daenerys lost her footing, sliding across the polished marble. Grey Worm dove, catching her arm and anchoring himself against a pillar. As she clung to him, she looked through the jagged opening in the wall, and her heart stopped.
'That's not possible,' she thought as she watched the scene in front of her eyes.
Meereen was bending.
Not just the buildings, but the earth itself. The entire city, from the harbors to the fighting pits, was tilting like a ship caught in a rogue wave. The horizon had vanished, replaced by a dizzying angle of stone and sky. She saw citizens falling from rooftops, market stalls sliding into the dust, and the very sea beginning to swell unnaturally.
Harry lazily shifted his hand to the left.
The city lurched back, tilting in the opposite direction. People slid like dolls across the floor; tables crashed, and wine carafes shattered into crystalline shards. Below, in the harbor, ships tilted at impossible angles, their masts nearly touching the water. It was as if the world had become soft clay in Harry's hand, and he was simply showing them how he could mold it to his wimps.
Then, Harry flattened his palm.
Everything snapped back into place. Back to a sudden, now terrifying stillness.
Daenerys remained on the floor for several seconds, staring out at the restored city. Her mind screamed that it was an illusion, but her inner ear and the cold stone against her palms told her otherwise. Even the most powerful sorcerers of Qarth were gnats compared to this. Men should not be able to do this.
'Men shouldn't have this kind of power,' her mind whispered, 'but gods do,' another, quieter part said back.
"And what," Tyrion asked, his voice shaking as he pulled himself upright, trying to change the subject to keep his mind off what just happened, "does a god as you want with us? I have never heard of a god who visits mortals so directly, my lord."
'My lord ehn' harry raised a brow, he wanted to chuckle, seems they have turned into believers.
"Have you heard of a god matching my description before?" Harry asked, raising a brow.
Tyrion hesitated, searching his vast memory of scrolls, lore, and stories he had heard throughout his life, then slowly shook his head.
"I didn't think so," Harry said lightly. "There are many gods, Lannister. Some forgotten, some you know, and others that have long since fled this divine-starved world. I, for as dashing as I appear, am the most powerful divinity you will ever encounter. Do not compare me to those who hide in their 'divine realms' and whisper to priests, you will never meet divinity like me in a hundred of your lifetime."
As he finished, a cold, suffocating pressure filled the room. It was the weight of his aura, a Campione's aura. It forced the soldiers to their knees, and the Greyjoys seem to have been making themselves look small, as if they were trying to vanish into the shadows of the pillars since he had titled the city.
Seems Yara had seen what he could do and decided it was best to keep her mouth shut.
"And as for why I'm here…" Harry shrugged, the pressure vanishing instantly. "I got interested. Watching a little girl pretend to be a conqueror and a leader of men is… amusing. It's like watching a child build a sandcastle and call it an empire because they found a few sharp rocks."
The fire returned to Daenerys' eyes. "I neither pretend, nor am I a little girl," she growled, rising to her feet.
"Aren't you?" Harry tilted his head. "A little girl who doesn't truly know what she wants, chasing the ghost of a foolish, cruel brother. Tell me, Daenerys, why are you really doing this? Is it for the people? Or because Viserys told you the Seven Kingdoms were your birthright, and you have nothing else to live for?"
"The Seven Kingdoms are mine by right!" she shot back. "I was born to rule them!"
Harry burst into a sudden, booming laugh that echoed off the mended walls. "Born to rule? Who told you such nonsense? Do you think the stars care who your father was?"
She opened her mouth to say her brother's name, but caught herself, realizing it would prove his point.
"My family ruled for centuries before the usurper took it," she countered instead.
"And how did your family take it?" Harry shot back, leaning forward, his gaze piercing. "By flowers and kindness? No. They were foreign invaders from a dying land who brought dragons to burn those who wouldn't bend. They were conquerors, just like the men you claim to hate. Your dynasty was forged in the same blood you now claim to despise. You aren't 'restoring' anything, you're just the latest person with a bigger stick."
She stammered, her face pale. "My father was their King. They betrayed him."
"Your father was a lunatic who burned men alive for the smell of it," Harry said flatly. "Your brother, Rhaegar, kidnapped a noblewoman promised to another and sparked a continent-wide fire because he couldn't keep his lust in check. And when the Starks asked for an explanation, your father executed them without a trial and demanded more heads. Tell me, if I did that to your family here, would you follow me simply because I was your king?"
He stared at her, unblinking. She turned her gaze to Tyrion as if seeking a lie, but the Lannister's somber expression confirmed the grim history she had spent her life ignoring.
"They are still my enemies," she insisted weakly.
"Most of them are dead, girl," Harry scoffed. "Robert is in the ground. Ned Stark is a headless ghost. Tywin is shitting in hell," he heard Tyrion snort at that one.
"You are at war with a history book. But I didn't come here to lecture you on your failed education. I find your struggle interesting, if a bit predictable and useless."
"Then why?" Tyrion asked.
Harry's emerald eyes gleamed with a predatory light. "I've decided to take the world. I want to spread my faith. I want worship. I want my name to be the one whispered when the lightning strikes and the earth moves."
"You expect us to worship you?" Daenerys asked, incredulous.
"Did I stutter?" Harry replied. "Divinity stands before you and offers you a choice. Worship me, or be destroyed. It's very simple. I intend to turn this world into my temple, and I thought the 'Mother of Dragons' would make a fine high priestess."
As he spoke, the sky above Meereen darkened instantly. Thick, unnatural clouds swallowed the sun. A howling wind exploded from the pyramid, snapping the Targaryen banners until they shredded. Lightning cracked across the sky in a jagged web of violet and white, and thunder roared so loudly the marble floors vibrated beneath their feet.
Harry rose from the throne, his silhouette outlined by the flashing storms behind him. His eyes glow, they shone like twin stars of emerald fire, like wildfire, casting long, dancing shadows. The power pressed down on the room as they forced every head to bow.
Outside, the mighty Dragons, the terrors of the skies, let out a sound no one had ever heard a dragon make.
Tyrion stared at the man standing before them, and right now, he couldn't even find it in him to try to deny it because the man looked like what he thought a god would.
"But don't feel too upset, you are trying to conquer the seven kingdoms, and it would be nice to have a new faith for your people, won't it. to have a god by your side watching over your people, a god that you know is here rather than those you have never seen before, right."
Daenerys was now looking at him warily.
"I'll even give you a little help, girl," Harry said. Daenerys seemed to open her mouth to retort that she was not a girl, but forced herself to close her mouth, looking sour.
"This is the perfect chance to take over the seven kingdoms after all," Harry told, and she seemed interested now.
"How so, my lord?" Tyrion asked.
"Well, with the war of five kings that killed almost all the important people that could challenge her and the Boltons dead, the Starks in short supply, the Martells and Tyrells in trouble because of Cersei, and then cersei who has made enemies of everyone around her, this is the best chance to enter and grab everything" harry told taking another grape.
He watched Tyrion stay quiet as the imp seemed to be thinking things over.
"Then this is the best chance to take the kingdoms, if I go with my dragons and..." Daenerys started saying before Harry sighed a loud sigh, making her frown as she looked at him.
"You really don't know how to lead a kingdom, do you? You really are more conqueror than leader".
"What?" she snapped at him, then flinched back when he narrowed his eyes at her.
"You know what, how about a little game between us" he said to the queen, as her retainers looked at them. He raised his right hand as smoke swirled around it before dispelling, revealing a rock like thing.
The others didn't seem to know what it was, but the gaping mouth of the queen told them it was important.
"You know what this is, don't you?" he asked her.
She nodded as she whispered, "a dragon egg," which made everyone's head snap to Harry's hand.
"good" he nodded, as he summoned a table by his side and put the egg on it, "i want you to get at least three of the great house to side with you with out death threats and in exchange for every house that sides with you i'll give you another dragon egg" he said as he summoned two more eggs dropping them on the table.
