Twenty minutes passed quickly. Godric, Evander, and Lucien finally arrived, each pushing a trolley loaded with food.
Nolan lifted Eliza into his arms and walked toward the prepared table.
Shion rose and followed him.
After placing Eliza in the middle seat, Nolan sat on the left, and Shion took the right.
"We've prepared dishes we're sure you'll enjoy, Leader Shion," Godric said politely as he stopped the trolley beside the table.
He lifted the cover, revealing three dishes and a drink laid out before them.
There was a roasted lamb leg, stir-fried red-furred rabbit meat, roasted purple sweet potatoes with honey jam, and a refreshing pink drink.
Meanwhile, Evander had prepared golden-scaled fish soup, braised snow deer meat, and fried forest birds, complete with purple tomato sauce. His drink was mango juice mixed with special appetite-enhancing herbs.
