"Shion, are you in there?"
Nolan opened Shion's office door and stepped inside. The sight that greeted him stunned him immediately.
"Shion, what happened?"
He rushed over to see Shion lying unconscious on the floor.
Eira jumped from Nolan's arms and licked Shion's face.
"Master, she's unconscious," she said.
Nolan frowned as he checked Shion's body, relieved to find no wounds or injuries.
Carefully, he lifted her and laid her down on a nearby couch.
He then made some hot tea and went to the cabinet for a towel. Soaking it in warm water, he gently placed it on Shion's forehead.
"She has a fever," Nolan whispered, his voice tinged with helplessness.
He hadn't expected Shion to faint just from a fever.
The cause was obvious: exhaustion. In his previous world, office workers often collapsed like this after pushing themselves too hard.
As he used his magic to ease Shion's fatigue, the office door slowly opened, and Luna peeked in.
