Nolan hummed as he strolled leisurely down the palace corridor.
He intended to meet his mother to discuss some important matters concerning the Eastern Empire of Izanagi.
Besides, he had forgotten to give her the necklace Ryuuten had given him, so this time he wanted to hand it over.
But suddenly, a soft whimper came from his right. Startled, he turned and saw a woman silently crying on a swing.
The woman was breathtaking, with stunning pink hair. It was Seira, his eldest sister.
'Seira… what's happened to her? Why is she crying?' Nolan's eyebrows furrowed.
It was rare to see Seira in tears. She always appeared strong, never yielding to anything.
Nolan couldn't resist his curiosity and walked over to see what was wrong.
He asked softly, "Sister, what's wrong? Why are you crying?"
Seira flinched at the sight of him, quickly wiping her tears and turning her face away.
"It's nothing."
