In the living room, Aldrian sat with anticipation written across his face. He seemed restless, as if he could hardly wait to see Seira, whom he had missed so much.
Suddenly, footsteps echoed from the entrance. Aldrian instinctively turned his head and saw Seira walking toward him, accompanied by Nolan.
His gaze fell on her beautiful face. Her pink hair was pinned up on the right side, and she wore a blue dress.
Her eyes were calm, yet they carried a hint of indifference that made his heart race.
With a smile, he stood and greeted her, "Seira, welcome to the Ancient Kingdom of Eron. I'm sorry for disturbing you with my sudden arrival. I hope you're not offended."
He hoped for a warm response. But Seira remained composed and indifferent, as if his presence hardly mattered.
"It's fine," she replied curtly.
Aldrian's smile faltered, and a wave of embarrassment washed over him. Still, he remained polite and sat back down.
