Nolan froze when he heard that. He quickly jumped to his feet and motioned for Obsidia and Malverna to leave.
The two understood immediately and vanished from sight.
Nolan turned toward the voice and saw Elina running toward him, her face pale.
"What happened?" Nolan asked, startled.
Elina was out of breath as she explained, "Something's happening to Eira! She might hatch at any moment!"
"Oh?" Nolan's eyes widened in surprise. "That's great news! I've really missed that little dragon. I can't wait to see her again."
He immediately walked past Elina.
"Let's go."

Inside the room, a massive egg floated in midair. It was over a meter tall.
A reddish-black light seeped from its surface, pulsing like a living vein.
Nolan, Rafine, and Elina stood not far away, watching it with different expressions.
"Brother, is Eira going to hatch soon?" Elina asked anxiously.
