In the dining room, Luke sat at the head of the table and laughed heartily.
"Hahaha! Sorry, Nolan. I've been too busy preparing for the contest, so I couldn't welcome you sooner. Once again, I'm truly sorry."
Nolan, seated on the right side of the table, smiled. He shook his head and replied casually, "It's fine, Uncle. Don't worry about it. I know you've been busy, so I'm not offended at all."
Hearing that, Luke felt relieved. Nolan was a prince. Regardless of his status as Evalyn's childhood friend, basic etiquette in welcoming a guest still had to be observed.
