"Annoying?"
Rei and Roseline were stunned and exchanged glances.
"That's right." Evalyn nodded and proceeded to explain everything that had happened.
After ten minutes they finally realized what had happened, and their faces immediately fell.
"Lucas really went too far this time," Roseline muttered with a sigh.
She then bowed her head and apologized to Evalyn.
"I'm sorry, Evalyn. This is all my fault. I shouldn't have paired you with him. I'm truly sorry."
Rei quickly lowered his head as well.
"It's not just Roseline. I'm at fault too. I was the one who came up with the idea of pairing you with Lucas, so I share the blame."
He hadn't expected Lucas to act so immaturely. Lucas had allowed Evalyn to lead the assault on Infernos City while he merely watched from afar.
Although Rei knew Lucas was sulking because Evalyn had opposed his plan, he also knew that Evalyn had been right.
