A beautiful woman hummed softly as she sat on a branch high up in a towering tree.
She gently swung her legs to the tune.
Suddenly, she stopped humming and smiled.
"Have you returned, Singularity of Chaos?"
Nolan, who had been about to startle her, froze.
"How did you know I was here, Yllia?"
Yllia turned around and giggled.
"The World Tree is my body. You touched its branch, so I knew it was you."
Nolan couldn't help but admire her before sitting down beside her.
"Am I bothering you?"
Yllia shook her head.
"Of course not. I'm actually very happy. I've been so lonely since you left."
Nolan was stunned. His purple eyes met her green ones, filled with concern.
"Do you still remember my other identity?" he asked, his voice trembling.
Yllia's smile grew wider.
"Do you mean the gods' punishment?" she teased. "They can't affect me."
Nolan felt a wave of relief wash over him.
