Flugar was amazed.
"Just as one would expect from the Singularity of Chaos—truly incredible!"
Obsidia nodded in admiration. Nolan's mastery of spatial power was beyond anything she had ever seen.
As the three of them chatted excitedly, the ground beneath them suddenly started shaking violently.
Before they could react, a cold, piercing voice echoed from the abyss.
"Who dares absorb demonic power in the Land of Death?"
Arnold, Flugar, and Obsidia felt as if their very souls were being squeezed by the voice.
"That voice…"
Arnold's heart began to pound.
"I forgot! That's the catastrophe-level monster that lives in the western region—the Soul Eater!"
Whoosh!
A monster shot out of the dark abyss.
It was enormous, measuring a hundred meters long and sixty meters tall. Its appearance was also bizarre: a disgusting, writhing black leech covered in rows of sharp fangs.
