Daniel muttered, then, using the God of Thieves' dagger, he split the seed of the Life Elder Tree into 128 parts. He then took out two seeds and placed them back into the heart of the tree.
"Take one for yourself, and I'll return two to you. Quite the deal, right?"
On the other side, the monsters seemed to have understood Daniel's words. They immediately fell silent, becoming unusually obedient.
Mist, witnessing this scene, was even more surprised than before.
"So, Lord Crossbridge, you don't actually plan on destroying it?" she asked.
"Why would I destroy it? It's just a poor demigod who was corrupted by desire," Daniel replied with a shrug.
Mist never expected Daniel to say such a thing. She blinked her big eyes, staring at Daniel for a long time before she couldn't help but speak.
