Aizen stared at Yamamoto in the crater below. His voice stayed calm.
The Fire Extinguisher Prince had just released all of Ryūjin Jakka's sealed flames at once. But Yamamoto had blocked everything with his own body.
Otherwise, with Ryūjin Jakka's power, the destruction would've been far worse.
Yamamoto slowly looked up. His face was covered in wounds, but his eyes stayed razor-sharp.
"You... bastard!"
Aizen's eyes lowered slightly. A faint smile crossed his lips.
"Don't look at me like that."
"I won't be saying 'I'll spare your life' to you."
He walked toward the crater, sword in hand.
"You represent Soul Society's entire history. If you survived this battle, it would be disgraceful."
"So let my blade send you off."
Aizen raised his Zanpakutō.
Then everything changed.
Yamamoto—who'd seemed so weak—suddenly shot his hand out and grabbed Aizen's foot!

Yamamoto's head rose slowly. His voice was a deep growl.
"Don't make me repeat myself, brat. You're too naive!!"
Violent spiritual pressure exploded from his arm. The temperature spiked. His entire arm turned fiery red.

For the first time, Aizen's expression shifted.
He hadn't expected this. Yamamoto was sacrificing his own arm to unleash the most destructive Kidō spell!
Crimson flames erupted from Yamamoto's arm.

Shigure glanced up.
"This final battle's moving faster than I expected."
A figure burst from the flames ahead.
Everyone tensed.
Aizen. He'd escaped the Ittō Kasō.
His eyes found their group immediately.
He vanished.
"?!"
Tōshirō and the others' faces changed.
Aizen reappeared less than ten feet away.
"Ai... zen!!"
Tōshirō's voice was grim.
But Aizen didn't even look at him.
He ignored everyone except Shigure. The other four might as well have been invisible.
A gentle smile crossed Aizen's lips.
"Long time no see, Captain Segawa."
"Still as composed as ever. Such calmness is truly enviable."
He spoke like they were old friends meeting for coffee.
Shigure's expression stayed flat. His eyes were like frozen lakes.
"You look more disheveled than last time, Aizen."
Aizen's smile didn't waver. His gaze shifted to the others.
Tōshirō, Unohana, and the rest tensed up.
"I'd like a private chat with my former lieutenant. So unfortunately..."
Aizen's smile widened.
"You'll all have to disappear now."
The four felt their hearts skip.
Not from his words—from what they suddenly sensed behind them.
Massive Hollow spiritual pressure erupted at their backs!
This wasn't ordinary Gillian-level pressure. It far exceeded even Adjuchas class!
Over ten Arrancar in white uniforms appeared behind them.
Cero energy began charging.
The spiritual pressure made space itself tremble.
Aizen's smile stayed gentle.
"Unfortunately, Captain Unohana, Captain Hitsugaya—your careers end here."
