Chapter 384 - Giovanni’s Will Shatters!

Countless phantoms of Mythical and Legendary Pokémon descended upon the battlefield.

Their terrifying pressure saturated every inch of the space.Normally, an ordinary Viridian Gym wouldn't be able to withstand such immense pressure.

This was because Origin Palkia had used its spatial powers to reinforce the gym's structure.

Only then could it remain intact, ensuring the building suffered minimal damage.

Rows of Mythical Pokémon stood uniformly on both sides, their gazes following the path upward.

At the very center, seated high upon a throne, was Akira.

Behind him.

Were five spectral forms of the highest-tier Legendary Pokémon!

The God of the Land, the God of the Sea, the God of Order Z, the God of the Sun, and the God of Space.

Each wielded terrifying authority, the supreme first-class deities of the Pokémon world!

Countless Mythical and Legendary Pokémon surrounded Akira like stars around the moon, elevating him to the status of a celestial sovereign.

Today, these legendary creatures stood behind a young man, willing to follow his commands.

If this were spoken aloud, 99,999 out of 100,000 people wouldn't believe it.

The one remaining person who would believe...

Was Giovanni.

Giovanni's eyes widened, his pupils trembling violently, the convictions he had held for years utterly shattered.

To put it mystically, his "heart" had broken.

He had founded Team Rocket, deeply aware of the power possessed by these legendary creatures.

For this, he had shed countless drops of sweat and blood, climbing step by step to the peak, amassing considerable strength.

He was even confident he could capture some of the weaker Mythical and Legendary Pokémon.

Having come this far, he had every reason to be proud.

Yet today, his meeting with Akira shattered all his lifetime's achievements in one fell swoop!

His proud accomplishments were nothing before Akira.

Just look at this assembly of Mythical and Legendary Pokémon, some familiar, others not.

It seemed a significant portion of the world's legendary creatures had been gathered under his command!

Before this, he had never imagined such a terrifying existence as Akira could exist in this world.

Nor could he fathom how Akira had tamed these legendary beings.

An ordinary person might never encounter even one in their lifetime.

Akira sat calmly on his throne, his gaze indifferent, as he quietly raised a hand and snapped his fingers.

In the next moment, the overwhelming pressure vanished simultaneously.

Giovanni felt the weight on his back disappear, as if a mountain he had carried for years had finally been lifted.

This sense of relief was something he had never experienced before.

Struggling against his weakness, Giovanni forced himself to stand a little straighter.

As he looked upon these immensely powerful Pokémon he had long coveted, his eyes were filled with a tumult of emotions.

Fear, wariness, envy... a kaleidoscope of feelings swirled within him.

Their presence also served as a reminder—what had just happened wasn't an Illusion, but reality.

"Just... where did you come from?" Giovanni swallowed hard, his voice low.

Though wary in his heart, his shattered convictions compelled him to ask.

He truly hoped Akira would say he was Arceus.

If Akira was truly human, he didn't think he could bear it.

Akira replied calmly, "Didn't I already tell you?"

"Behind me stands an entire world."

"But the thing is..."

"I never said it was this world—"

Akira's lips curled into a meaningful smile.

To Giovanni, however, that smile was as terrifying as the grim reaper from hell.

His expression twisted violently.

A tsunami of shock and disbelief crashed through every corner of his mind.

Not this world? Then was it a parallel world?

Or..."We've wasted enough time."

"Giovanni of the Earth, you're decent, but still lacking."

"Save your words for after this is over."

"Though by then, you won't have anything left to say."

In the next moment, Nihilego emerged from among the Mythical and Legendary Pokémon, appearing before Giovanni in the blink of an eye.

Nihilego floated in the air, its tentacles swaying unconsciously, as if swimming through the ocean.

At the same time, the tips of Nihilego's tentacles split into five small, crystalline fragments, each one exquisitely beautiful.

Each fragment contained a massive amount of neurotoxin.

Giovanni's heart raced in alarm, and he quickly reached out to stop Nihilego.

But it was futile.

Under Nihilego's control, the fragments merged into Giovanni's body as he watched in horror.

Giovanni's expression twisted through several changes, revealing extreme agony as he collapsed to his knees in pain.

He could feel his thoughts being manipulated.

At that moment, he suddenly thought of Lambda.

So, he had already been controlled!

A few moments later.

The pain on Giovanni's face faded, replaced by calm composure, his gaze toward Akira now filled with fervor.

Giovanni had been completely subdued.

Just like Lambda.

Giovanni bowed deeply, his tone respectful:

"Giovanni, at your command."

Akira gave a slight nod.

"Giovanni, give me an overview of Team Rocket's current situation. Start with the high-ranking members."

"Yes."

Through Giovanni's explanation, Akira realized the timeline of this world seemed somewhat different.

Red had already become Champion, yet certain events had yet to occur.

For instance, Giovanni was still researching Mewtwo, and the Mewtwo Project was reportedly nearing completion.

Akira wasn't particularly concerned about these deviations.

With absolute power, it didn't matter how the plot changed—even if it diverged entirely from what he knew.

He had set two primary goals for himself:

First, to traverse the Pokémon world and bring forth the birth of those legendary Pokémon.

Second, to use Team Rocket as a foundation, transplanting the influence he had built in the Hunter world into this one.

Just as he had done in the Hunter world.

He would make this world his own.

Origin Palkia had told him that the reason they could cross into the Pokémon world was due to its proximity to the Hunter world.

Moreover, Origin Palkia originated from the Pokémon world.

Their inherent connection made it possible.

However, traveling to other worlds was currently beyond its capabilities.

But if they could seize control of the Pokémon world, granting Origin Palkia greater authority over space, there was Hope of opening pathways to other worlds.

Thus, conquering the Pokémon world was unavoidable.

Currently, Team Rocket's forces remained largely intact and were thriving.

Below Giovanni, the highest-ranking members were the Four Generals, the Three Executives, and the Three Admins—ten individuals in total.

The Three Executives were Koga, Surge, and Sabrina, who, like Giovanni, also served as Gym Leaders.

The Three Admins were Proton, Ariana, and Archer.

The Four Generals were Apollo, Athena, Lance, and Lambda.

These ten formed Team Rocket's most elite team.

And now, they were all under his command.Of course, relying solely on Giovanni's orders was insufficient.

It wouldn't be good if they decided to rebel.

So, just like controlling Giovanni, they needed Nihilego to take control of them.

After a moment of contemplation, Akira spoke:

"Giovanni, your first task is as follows."

"Summon all these people here."

"The sooner, the better."

"As you command."

Giovanni nodded, then took out his phone and called each of them one by one.

With a series of calls, everything was arranged.

However, since these people were scattered across different regions—for instance, the Three Admins' was in the Johto region—it was impossible for everyone to arrive simultaneously.

Thus, Akira had Giovanni schedule a meeting three days later at this location.

Before then, Akira wanted Giovanni to take him somewhere.

"Giovanni, take me to Team Rocket's main headquarters."

...

Team Rocket's main headquarters had always been extremely well-hidden.

Aside from a select few within the organization, almost no one knew its location.

It was situated in an underground space somewhere between Pallet Town and Viridian City.

Taking the elevator, Akira had Giovanni lead the way.

The underground facility was massive, equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Everywhere was lined with silver-white high-tech equipment, even the walls and ceiling.

Standing inside, one could hardly tell it was an underground space.

There were also numerous staff members clad in white lab coats.

Upon seeing the unfamiliar face of Akira, they showed no reaction—after all, their supreme leader, Giovanni, was leading him.

Whenever they spotted Giovanni, they would respectfully greet him.

After walking a distance and unlocking several security measures, Akira finally arrived at Mewtwo's laboratory.

Akira immersed his consciousness into his mind.

Sure enough, a brand-new incubation bar had appeared.

Given the location, there was no other possibility besides Mewtwo.
