Ryo spoke softly as he closed his eyes, letting himself sink into the changes brought by awakening the Seventh Sense.
The so-called Seventh Sense was the origin point of all Cosmos, the source of life itself in the Saint Seiya world. It was the one giving user access to the essence of Cosmo
In other words, "Seventh Sense" was simply another name for true cosmoenergy.
The Eighth Sense was a realm of the soul, linked to reincarnation and dead consciousness and the first steps of godhood.
The Ninth was a level of personal transcendence, Godhood, or Divinity.
Cosmo at its peak reached only the Seventh Sense. Anything higher belonged to the great cosmic forces, the ultimate powers of gods, something beyond Cosmo itself.
"...Oh?"
After awakening the Seventh Sense, the first ability Ryo gained was Light.
This didn't mean moving at light speed because he was burning his Cosmo. It meant his body itself had become capable of moving at light speed. His physical vessel had reached a level that could tolerate such motion.
In the Little Garden, that put him on par with a three-digit's star body, a hallmark of their tier.
His physique could already be considered a four-digit freak.
The second ability was a super-charged version of atomization.
Instead of being limited to his fists, the "atom-shattering" trait now coated any force he released, even powers unrelated to his Cosmo.
Which meant he could use simple telekinesis… to crush a star.
From this point onward, planets were toys in his hands.
The third ability was tied to space-time.
With the Seventh Sense, Ryo could use his Cosmo to distort space-time directly, slip into other dimensions, and even tear open black holes that connected to parallel universes. He could banish enemies into subspace, trapping them in dimensional drift for eternity.
Along with that came basic teleportation.
With the Seventh Sense, he could tear open space just by willing it, jumping through hyperspace the way Saints crossed cosmic distances in an instant.
The fourth ability was Insight, the classic Saint Seiya trait where the same technique never works twice.
Saints wielded the energy to create galaxies. Any force that touched them could be analyzed and often replicated or countered. This was why repeated techniques were useless against a Saint.
The fifth ability was the Mind Wave.
After awakening the Seventh Sense, Ryo could manifest his thoughts as a physical phantom. This phantom had a Cosmo of its own, though only at the level of an early Silver Saint. About Mach 10 in speed.
Its Cosmo output was around one ten-thousandth of his own, making it perfect for scouting or triggering traps. And combined with Insight… Ryo immediately saw some very fun applications.
After all, a Mind Wave was just condensed spiritual power. It could look like anyone. It could be anything. His lips curved up slightly.
He planned to disguise one as Mithras, then deliberately behave suspiciously in places easy to get caught.
Like visiting the capital's red-light district, loudly "coming out," maybe even flirting with a widow.
That would definitely be headline material.
"What's with that sneaky smile? What are you plotting?" Shiroyasha smacked his shoulder and gave him a weird look.
"Nothing. Just remembered something amusing."
Ryo's face was perfectly calm, the picture of a respectable gentleman.
'Yeah right,' Shiroyasha thought, rolling her eyes. 'This brat is definitely thinking dirty thoughts.' She asked, "How do you feel? No side effects?"
Ryo grinned. "Never felt better."
"Good."
Shiroyasha raised an eyebrow, then patted his shoulder with a smile.
"Once you settle the Queen's matter, you should be able to head to another world. Want to borrow a Boundary Gate?"
"Sure." Ryo's lip twitched. He suspected that "settling Queen Halloween's business" had always been her true goal.
Well… given Shiroyasha's mood, cutting ties with the Queen was probably necessary.
Ryo sighed, took out a slip of paper, and wrote a short message.
{The Sun Authority of Draco is in Outer Gate 54545, City of Blazing Ember. It was payment for the previous assistance.}
After finishing, he performed a summoning ritual linking to the Queen. These rituals weren't rare, but nobody dared to use them without permission. Anyone who initiated one would be punished directly by the deity the ritual targeted. And that punishment could ignore the Gods' Alliance treaties, meaning the target could freely use three-digit power.
'A very exploitable mechanic, actually…' Ryo thought as he lit the paper at the center of the ritual array.
Shiroyasha's eyes brightened slightly.
The burning paper turned yellow, then brittle, transforming into the thin joss paper.
Ryo's eyelid twitched hard. He realized he had developed resistance to Shiroyasha's chaos.
But that was fine. At least Queen Halloween would immediately know exactly who had sent this message. Which meant he wouldn't get blamed for it.
That was also Shiroyasha's intention… she was deliberately shielding him. Ryo nodded faintly. Her sense of humor was questionable, but she was still surprisingly considerate.
The paper burned to ash.
Ryo stood and said casually, "Let's go. I need to visit the Boundary Gate."
"You go. I'll stay here for a bit." Shiroyasha waved him off lazily.
Ryo nodded and left.

A quiet, mist-shrouded castle. Inside its study, a woman with long golden hair and ruby-like eyes suddenly looked up.
On her desk, a sheet of yellow funerary paper appeared in a burst of red flame, revealing its message.
{The Sun Authority of Draco is in Outer Gate 54545, City of Blazing Ember. It was payment for the previous assistance.}
"So childish."
She let out a small laugh. Then she pulled out pen and paper and wrote:
{ShiroYoruMaou seems to have fallen in love with a human and even gave him a Sun Authority. They have apparently produced a divine child in secret.}
{The child was hidden within a sword by its mother to avoid the sight of the gods.}
After writing, she tapped the desk lightly.
Soon, Scathach entered and bowed. "Your Majesty."
"Deliver this message to Di Tian. Quietly. It must be secret."
Di Tian? The gossip-loving goddess from the Heavenly Army… Scathach's expression grew subtle. She had guessed this was another Shiroyasha situation.
Not that it mattered. This wasn't the first time she had helped the Queen stir things up.
Her lips curved in a graceful, knowing smile as she bowed. "As you command."
