It was surrounded by a grey black mist that tripled in mass as it threw itself on Liang Sen.
Surprisingly enough, the peachwood sword buckled under the weight of the child ghost. Liang Sen jumped a few metres backwards, light on his feet before swinging the sword again.
The black mist that had been split in half trembled, and slowly showed signs of reforming again.
The sword glowed and Liang Sen looked at Mu Ziya who nodded. She had quickly created an array on the ground. The problem was how to drag the child ghost into the circle.
Gu Yuze's low voice sounded next to Mu Ziya's ears, "The mother. Can't we use her as bait?"
For a second, Mu Ziya looked back. Gu Yuze was leaning weakly on the wall, his face flushed and sweaty like he had just run a hundred miles.
"We don't do that." She said calmly.
Gu Yuze looked at his bleeding palm and a drop of blood suddenly floated, landing in the circle.
