Emissary.
It sounds simple, but this is no ordinary existence.
A life that walks the Path of a certain Astral God and gains power from it is called a Pathstrider.
Among Pathstriders, only a very small number, those who are favored by an Astral God and would be called the "God's Chosen" in the mortal world, can earn the title of Emissary.
In contrast, the Scion of Long part of Lu Xing's current title is a more common... actually, not common at all, faction name. For example, individuals or civilizations that follow the Path blazed by "Akivili, the Astral God of Trailblaze" are usually categorized under the "Nameless" faction.
The requirements for joining a faction may seem loose, but in the vast, boundless universe, it is a crucial standard for distinguishing friend from foe. It may not be 100% accurate, but an accuracy of over ninety percent is already a rare and valuable method.
As for the Scion of Long faction...
Due to the death of "Long, the Astral God of Immortality," the Scions walking this Path lack a strong leader. Although individual Scions of Long are extremely powerful, they usually fight alone. Because of the special nature of their Path (a powerful dragon body is an extremely precious material), they have become very rare throughout the cosmos. At the very least, the currently surviving Scions of Long are mostly hiding in the remote corners of the galaxy.
After all, for those who walk a Path where they grow stronger just by living, many worldly desires are often worn away over time.
Therefore, regarding his current title, Emissary and Scion of Long had basically laid out his faction and direction.
At the same time, these Dominions also brought more information that was neither good nor bad.
The key to everything lay with "Nanook" of Destruction.
"Akivili" of Trailblaze was already dead. "Qlipoth" of Preservation was dedicated to the endless construction of the "Subspace Crystal Wall," measured in light-years, to maintain the stability of the universe. "Nous" of Erudition was a supercomputer whose lifelong goal was to exhaust the limits of cosmic knowledge.
Even if they one day took notice of him, they wouldn't pose a danger, let alone while he was still just an Emissary of "Order."
But Nanook was different.
This Astral God's power lay in destruction—the destruction of everything except themselves... and sometimes, they didn't even spare themselves.
Whether it was an Astral God, an Emissary, or a Pathstrider, the higher their compatibility with their Path, the stronger they became.
It was obvious that "Nanook" of Destruction was one of the most powerful combatants among all the Astral Gods.
If such a volatile, high-dimensional being were to turn its gaze upon him before he was fully prepared... to say his life would be in peril would be an understatement.
Therefore—
"Cultivate a calm heart and nature; peace is paramount."
---o---
Indeed.
The Dominions left to Lu Xing by the God of Honkai were all very well-suited to his identity.
Learning knowledge could strengthen the Dominion of Erudition.
Judging worlds could strengthen the Dominion of Order.
Living longer could strengthen the Dominion of Immortality. (Name has been updated)
Protecting civilization could strengthen the Dominion of Preservation.
Exploring and adventuring could strengthen the Dominion of Trailblaze.
Strengthening these "Dominions" did not conflict with Lu Xing's original plans in the slightest. This even applied to the Dominion of Destruction. If he didn't have to worry about Nanook's gaze, this power, which seemed to be the polar opposite of the Dominion of Preservation, would, under certain circumstances, not violate the latter's will at all.
For example... those worlds eroded by the Sea.
Sigh!
A sigh in the void.
It was still too early to consider these matters.
He had spent so much time just to resolve a small incident on a single planet. As a price, he now had to hang his main body in the sky as a moon to give Earth enough of a buffer... at the very least, until they could build an artificial moon.
Speaking of his main body...
"..."
Lu Xing was now a sphere.
His skill list was indeed much shorter, but at least there were still some moves he could use. That should have been the case, but as a sphere, without even claws, he couldn't possibly use a skill like God Fist Pulverizer.
And that was exactly the case.
Although this sphere was incomparably divine...
The sphere did have a discernible top, bottom, left, and right. A cross-shaped Divine Ring floated directly above it. From the edge of the ring, three pairs of light-wings, formed from the Dominions and containing countless unknown patterns, unfolded, continuously extending until they completely enveloped the entire sphere.
It was magnificent and ostentatious.
Its defense was also ridiculously strong. Although he couldn't test it, Lu Xing was certain that with the defense of this double-layered eggshell, even a peak-condition Finality might not be able to crack it.
But he couldn't attack.
To be precise, he couldn't use any move other than "ramming."
And in fact, if Lu Xing were to actually move, the resulting chain reaction on Earth... it was best he remained still for the time being.
---o---
Of course, being unable to use his skills didn't mean Lu Xing couldn't access their information.
"..."
Root Regression didn't need much of an introduction.
This skill completely inherited the Monarch's "clone-and-brainwash" combo set. The only minor problem was that when Lu Xing advanced to an Emissary, all of his clones returned to his main body.
To be on the safe side, he had to send the clones out again. This led to another problem: due to the explosive increase in his strength, Lu Xing's clones now had a "minimum power limit." He could not create a clone with a power level below a "true, normal" Lv.80.
In other words, a clone from the Monarch was, at the very least, at the peak of the Judgment-class... or more accurately, a peak Judgment-class egg!
That's right.
His plan to learn through his clones was now ruined, at least for the foreseeable future. Before they hatched into new Scions of Long, as long as the Monarch's main consciousness was not dormant, the clones were really just eggs... incredibly hard eggs.
"Sigh."
"There's no hope for clever shortcuts."
The Monarch's Naruto-style learning method had come to an end. For a long time to come, he would likely have to rely solely on his main body's learning to improve.
Divine Flame Impact was untestable.
There was no target on which to test this Super-Ultimate-Plus+++ "ramming" skill. The closest target worth ramming was Earth.
God Fist Pulverizer was unusable due to a lack of necessary components.
As for Galactic Silence and Celestial Comet Wall...
His stats were insufficient.
That's right!
Lu Xing's stats did not support the use of these two moves!
Although there was no level requirement, these two skills required an average stat of 1000 points!
Even though he was only 64 points short... for an egg, those 64 points were an incredibly difficult hurdle.
Everything would have to wait until after he hatched.
