The golden divine dragon exploded directly in the centre of the Lost Heathens' defensive line.
Everything within five metres of the epicentre was instantly disintegrated, while a searing wave of heat scorched everything within the next ten. Beyond that, the blast radius extended another twenty metres, leaving devastation in its wake.
'Interesting… so shaping the spell into an animate form ensured that more of its energy was directed towards its primary purpose, with less wasted as excess output like sound or unstable dispersion,' Alex mused inwardly.
His eyes narrowed slightly.
'However…'
"It's a little weaker than I expected, considering all that flair," Zora remarked.
Alex silently agreed.
The spell had certainly looked far more spectacular than the actual destruction it produced. Then again, the devastation at the epicentre had been undeniably severe, so it was not as though the result was disappointing.
