Her eyes widened in pure shock. "You want to move in?"
"Is there a problem?" he countered, a teasing glint in his eyes. "We lived together before, didn't we?"
But how could she even compare then and now? It was totally different.
Rachel pressed her lips together, her mind racing for an answer she didn't have.
"Or is it that you just don't want to live with me anymore?" His voice dropped to a whisper as he leaned in, closing the distance until his face was just inches from hers.
His warm breath fanned her skin.
He was so close, she could count every one of his stupidly long eyelashes, see the slight, dangerous flutter of them.
Her first instinct was to pull away, to escape the intensity of his stare.
But in the next second, his fingers caught her chin, his grip firm, forcing her to hold his gaze.
