"But..." George tried to plead.
"No buts!" Sophia snapped, her face a mask of pure irritation. "I'm not some charity helper! Besides, I wasn't the one driving during that accident. If I start paying for this, then anyone who gets a paper cut will come running to me for money!"
After saying that, Sophia spun around to leave, but George instinctively shot his hand out and grabbed her arm. "Miss Yeung, please..."
"Let go of me!" Sophia shrieked, while her assistant rushed forward and shoved George away hard.
George stumbled backward, barely managing to catch his balance and not fall.
Sophia shot him a death glare before turning to the security team. "Make sure these two don't get anywhere near my set again! They've completely ruined my mood for filming!"
The security guard just nodded over and over again, looking scared.
Rachel's heart sank. It was totally clear that this trip had been a complete waste of time.
