Deep in the middle of the Drodogen wood,
All was silent as the lone Shinobi stood dumbfounded.
In all of his years of training, he had never encountered such speed or agility in an adversary.
At this point, he knew he was in trouble, for he had purposely upped his own speed in order to strike faster than he normally would.
Yet somehow, the young girl had managed to evade his attack.
"What deception is this!?"
He thought to himself.
"It is all but impossible for her to have escaped me undetected! She has to be clo-"
At that, his mental thought trailed off and was lost as he felt a cold chill over the length of his entire body.
"Wha-what is this? Where did yo-"
Looking down, he could see a long, thin blade oddly protruding from his left side, just inches below his ribcage.
As he looked on in disbelief, he stumbled forward several steps and fell to one knee, just managing to catch himself by stabbing his sword's tip into the hard-packed soil below him.
From several feet behind himself, he suddenly heard a voice.
That of the annoying female warrior chuckling to herself in a bout of victorious satisfaction.
"And THAT was a warning blow."
The girl stated, taking several small steps forward.
"Now leave here or I'm gonna take that cloth-wrapped head of yours right off with my next attack."
Her voice echoed quietly as it rang out across the forest with a tone full of power and authority.
For a moment, he turned his attention back to his wound. It was serious, but not life-threatening, and even as he gazed on, the blade seemed to be shrinking in size, simply because it was.
"Ice?"
He thought aloud as the blade began to lose its shiny, silver streaks.
"Very impressive."

I REALLY hate to leave this undone, so I was thinking I could maybe give it a swing at finishing it.

My writing skills have changed considerably over the years, as you can see if you read any of the stories from O.L.K., lol.
BUT, I do believe that I have at least a loose idea of what Young Me was working toward with Leafaria, so I may be able to pick up where I left off back in 9th grade!, lmao.

That is a huge part of why this little story of mine never came to fruition, or even just a proper ending.
Hmm.
I will do my best.
I think that I have another notebook that has several chapters of what appears to be more Leafaria material, including a bunch of "Character Dive."-like bios for the "cast" of Leafaria.
The thing is...
These chapters seem to be from some sort of time skip event...
That, or I am missing far more chapters than I thought, and I am sure that this isn't the case.
I will give you all that I have, lol, and then we will go from there, deal?
