The passionate look in his eyes made my heart flutter in my chest like a bird trapped in a cage.
"You don't get to decide that, I intend to have a lot of people who will call me master," I said avoiding his eyes.
"So, our bond doesn't mean that much to you?"
"Damon, can we please end this discussion?" I rubbed my temple, exhausted.
'I should be thinking of how to live my life before that fateful day. I have 29 days left, making a to-do list doesn't sound like a bad plan.'
"Ember, are you even listening to me?" Damon's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"What?"
"I said it is okay if you don't want us to talk about it, but as my master, shouldn't you start lecturing me?" He tilted his head with a look of mischievousness.
"On what?" I decided to give him a face.
Taken aback by my question, he appeared to be thinking of what to say, then his eyes lit up like a bulb. "Ahem." he cleared his throat, sitting on the couch again.
