Cherreads

Chapter 370 - Chapter 371: Gang Beating

Madara's senses sharpened, and he quickly pulled back from the flock of paper cranes.

The cranes merged together, taking the form of Urashiki. His blue Rinnegan glimmered with mockery as he spoke,

"Pretty cautious, aren't you? How about this one?"

With that, Urashiki gripped his glowing red fishing rod and cast out a crimson hook straight at Madara.

Madara was about to unleash Almighty Push, but Kinshiki suddenly tore through the Limbo' encirclement and appeared right behind him, clamping Madara in his thick, powerful arms.

Madara's face darkened.

"Damn it!"

The red hook pierced into Madara's body. Urashiki smirked, then gave a sharp tug. The hook ripped out a mass of brilliant blue chakra from within Madara.

Urashiki stuffed the stolen chakra into a basket-shaped jar slung across his back, nodding with satisfaction.

"You've got quite a bit of chakra in there!"

Madara's face paled. That one pull had stripped away nearly half his chakra. Fortunately, his reserves were enormous—if it had been any other shinobi, they would have died on the spot from total chakra depletion.

Kinshiki took advantage of Madara's weakened state and tightened his hold.

Madara tried to summon his shadows back, but Urashiki was faster—his fishing rod reeled in all four Limbo clones before they could return.

Forced, Madara unleashed Almighty Push. But compared to Kaito's, his technique lacked overwhelming force. Braced and prepared, Kinshiki managed to endure it with his monstrous physique.

The tide of battle turned sharply against Madara—until,

"Amaterasu!"

Fwoom!

Black flames burst to life across Kinshiki's back. The searing fire weakened his grip for just an instant, and Madara wrenched himself free.

The moment Madara escaped, Minato and Obito appeared, flanking Kinshiki from either side.

Minato slammed a Rasengan into him, while Obito went for raw brutality—thrusting a black rod deep into Kinshiki's body.

Kinshiki roared in pain as the Rasengan blasted him away.

Madara landed on the ground again. Itachi rushed over, concern written on his face.

"Are you alright?"

Madara felt a faint warmth at his words, but he scoffed,

"What could possibly happen to me? Didn't I tell you not to come? I can handle this myself!"

Itachi already understood Madara's personality well, so he didn't take the words too seriously.

Madara noticed the blood staining beneath Itachi's right eye and couldn't help but ask,

"And you? How's your eye holding up?"

"It's fine. Kaito-sama already had Orochimaru implant Hashirama cells in me. Even if I use Amaterasu a few more times, it won't cause much harm."

"Good... that's good..."

...

Up in the sky, Kinshiki retreated back to Urashiki's side, his body still wreathed in black flames. Urashiki immediately used the Preta Path to absorb the flames, freeing Kinshiki from his burning torment.

Kinshiki gave Urashiki a grateful nod, then charged down toward Minato and Obito, who had landed on the battlefield.

Minato and Obito stood shoulder-to-shoulder, launching punches together as Kinshiki barreled into them.

Boom!

Kinshiki's raw strength was overwhelming. Even united, Minato and Obito were sent flying.

Mid-flight, Obito formed seals, then spat out a spiraling storm of fire.

"Fire Release: Storm Dance!"

Still smoldering from Amaterasu, Kinshiki was engulfed once more in roaring flames.

Minato couldn't help but praise,

"What a powerful Fire Release! Makes me want to give it a—"

"Enough, sensei! Now's not the time for naming jutsu! The flames won't hold him for long!"

"Uh..."

An awkward smile flickered on Minato's face. Then his gaze sharpened—golden chakra cloaked his body in an instant, his entire presence transforming.

Obito blinked in shock.

"This is..."

Urashiki's eyes flew wide, his voice cracking in disbelief.

"That aura... it's Ten Tails' chakra!"

Fwoosh!

Kinshiki erupted out of the firestorm, brandishing a massive red-glowing axe. He brought it down in a crushing swing at Minato.

But golden chakra arms stretched from Minato's cloak, one hand catching the axe blade mid-swing.

Kinshiki froze. How could a human's strength have skyrocketed so suddenly?

Before he could recover, a black sphere of dense chakra formed in Minato's palm—its energy far beyond that of a Rasengan.

A miniature Tailed Beast Bomb.

Kinshiki's pupils shrank. His instincts screamed to retreat, but Minato wasn't about to give him the chance. Another golden arm shot out, locking Kinshiki in place.

Seizing the moment, Minato hurled the Tailed Beast Bomb at him, then flashed away in an instant.

Boom!

The bomb detonated on Kinshiki, a towering mushroom cloud tearing into the sky.

As the smoke cleared, Kinshiki emerged, covered in blood. His body trembled, then collapsed to one knee.

...

Meanwhile, on the moon—

Hamura's protective barrier flickered dim, nearly failing.

But Momoshiki abruptly stopped his assault, frowning as he muttered,

"What's going on with Kinshiki? Could it be... Kaguya?"

His eyes flicked toward Kaito within the barrier, and he gave a cold snort.

"Lucky bastard."

With that, he opened a portal and stepped through.

Kinshiki wasn't allowed to die to anyone but him—or the Ten Tails. Otherwise, it would be a waste.

As Momoshiki vanished, Hamura exhaled heavily in relief. Looking down at the unconscious Kaito, he whispered,

"You'd better wake up soon... I can't hold out much longer..."

...

Back on Earth—

Gravely wounded, Kinshiki struggled to endure Minato and Obito's relentless assault. Urashiki, meanwhile, clashed with Madara and Itachi.

Itachi had unleashed Susanoo. Though only at its third stage, it wielded a supreme weapon—the Totsuka Blade, a sword infamous for sealing anything it pierced. Urashiki had nearly fallen prey to it moments ago.

With Itachi's support, Madara fought far more freely. Urashiki had immense raw power, but he lacked refined battle experience.

Despite being far older than Madara, he had fought rarely—relying on overwhelming strength to crush opponents. Against a veteran carved from the Warring States era, he was outmatched.

Ironically, it was Urashiki who found himself on the back foot.

Madara pressed him hard, wielding a black staff wreathed in Amaterasu flames, battering him mercilessly—like a man chasing a stray dog.

Humiliation burned in Urashiki's chest. He was an Ōtsutsuki, come to this "lowly planet" to dominate. And now... two mere humans had him cornered. It was unthinkable, an unforgivable disgrace.

His gaze darted toward Kinshiki—already riddled with black rods, his body resembling a grotesque pincushion.

Urashiki's expression hardened. Reaching back toward his chakra jar, he snarled through clenched teeth,

"Humans... aren't you getting a little too full of yourselves?"
