Chapter 438 - Chapter 439: A New Form

You can bully your little brother yourself, but if anyone else dares to touch him, that's a whole different story.

Right now, Eighteen's fury was overflowing. If Maron were standing in front of her, she'd have smashed her to pieces with a single punch.

Kaito wasn't surprised, though. He already knew what kind of person Maron was.

Seventeen rubbed his forehead helplessly and said,

"Forget it, sis. I'll take the loss this time. Honestly, I already dealt with it yesterday—those guys all ended up in the hospital."

Eighteen's lips curved into a cold smile.

"Good. That's my brother. You can't let something like this slide."

"Oh, and yesterday I ran into this bald guy—another one of Maron's admirers. But he wasn't too bad. After I handled the others, he pulled me away before the cops showed up. Could've been a pain otherwise."

That piqued Kaito's interest. He raised an eyebrow.

"Bald guy? His name wouldn't happen to be Krillin, would it?"

"Huh? Yeah, that sounds right. You know him, brother-in-law?"

"Can't say I really know him, but that little bald guy's no ordinary human. He's got some skill."

"Really? Then maybe I'll spar with him next time."

Kaito chuckled. "Nah, don't bother. He's got some skill, sure, but nowhere near enough to be your match."

"Alright then…"

Eighteen stood up and walked over to Seventeen, patting him on the shoulder.

"Stay home and cool off tonight. Kaito and I have something to do."

"What are you two up to?"

"Moon gazing."

"..."

Seventeen burst into tears and ran back to his room.

That night, under Seventeen's resentful glare, Eighteen clung to Kaito's arm with a satisfied smile as they headed out.

Kaito brought her to a remote, deserted place. The surroundings were quiet, almost serene.

Eighteen found a spot to sit down, her big blue eyes fixed on Kaito, silently saying,

"Show me what you've got."

Kaito smiled faintly. He clenched his fist—and the ground trembled with a deep boom, startling Eighteen.

But what happened next left her completely speechless.

In the distance, entire mountain ranges began to crack apart. Countless fragments of rock rose into the sky—similar events unfolding all over the world's uninhabited zones.

High above, a massive, shadowy sphere emerged—its size growing until it blocked out the stars—then slowly faded from view.

Moments later, a brand-new moon hung brilliantly in the night sky.

Eighteen stared blankly upward, once again witnessing a divine miracle with her own eyes.

Destroying a moon would be nothing for her now. But creating one? That was something only gods could do.

Creation itself was the privilege of divinity.

The white tail coiled around Kaito's waist unfurled and swayed. He spread his arms wide, basking in the silver light of his newly formed moon.

Thump, thump!

His heartbeat echoed like war drums. Silver fur began to sprout across his body, and his frame expanded at an astonishing rate.

"Raaaah!!!"

With a roar that shook the heavens, Kaito transformed completely—into a colossal silver great ape.

Since his white cloak was a product of energy rather than fabric, it didn't tear with his transformation—it draped perfectly around his enormous form.

Eighteen was stunned. She flew up to the giant ape's face, calling out his name.

Kaito's golden eyes gleamed fiercely. Without warning, his massive hand reached out and gently wrapped around her.

Eighteen's body tensed—but she didn't resist.

Instead, she softly patted his hand and whispered,

"Don't scare me like that, Kaito. Come on, change back already."

A faint smile appeared on the great ape's face. He carefully set Eighteen down, then raised his arms to the sky and let out another mighty roar.

...

Silver aura surged from his body, wrapping around him in a blazing cocoon. His massive form began to shrink back to normal size.

He still wore his white coat—but from the open collar, faint traces of silver fur could be seen along his chest.

Around his eyes was a shimmering ring of silver shadow, and within his golden pupils burned a fiery light.

His hair remained silver, though now wilder—two locks hanging loosely over his chest.

Bathed in moonlight, he stood there, a perfect blend of primal wildness and divine grace. The contradiction should've been jarring—but somehow, it was beautiful.

This form resembled Super Saiyan 5—but fused with the divine aura of the transcendent bloodline.

Eighteen was mesmerized. She didn't come back to her senses until Kaito pulled her into his arms.

With a teasing smirk, Kaito lowered his head slightly. Eighteen's heart skipped a beat.

"Kaito," she murmured, flustered, "were you trying to show me the moon tonight… or yourself?"

He grinned. "What's the difference? They both belong to you."

Eighteen stiffened, then buried her face against his chest, speechless. She needed a moment to calm her racing heart—tonight had been far too surreal.

...

God Realm

Inside a colossal divine tree, Beerus—who had been sleeping for over thirty years—suddenly opened his eyes. A streak of deep violet light flashed within them.

With his hands behind his back, he stepped out of the tree. Waiting outside was Whis, his expression unusually serious.

"Lord Beerus," Whis said softly, "you sensed it too, didn't you?"

Beerus nodded gravely.

"That's why I woke up early. That was divine energy—stronger than anything I've felt before. Who could it be?"

Whis tapped his staff lightly against the ground. The crystal orb at its tip shimmered, revealing an image of a distant blue planet.

Beerus leaned closer, studying it for a moment.

"So that power came from this planet? What's it called? I don't recognize it."

"It's called Earth," Whis replied. "Quite far from here. Shall we go take a look, Lord Beerus?"

"Of course! I can't believe someone that strong has appeared in my universe. Finally, a worthy opponent!"

Whis remained silent. Though his own power surpassed Beerus's, even he had felt a sense of dread from that divine aura. That alone meant Beerus might not stand a chance against the unknown being.

Beerus frowned impatiently.

"Hey! Whis! What are you spacing out for? Hurry up and take me to Earth!"

Whis sighed quietly. Defying Beerus wasn't an option. He waved his staff, and the two vanished in streaks of light, leaving the God Realm behind.

But Beerus and Whis weren't the only ones heading for Earth.

A massive spaceship was already cruising through the void.

Inside, Frieza sat in his floating pod, a sly, knowing smile on his face.

Moments ago, his subordinates had reported that Vegeta and Nappa had gone to Earth—and then completely lost contact.

But what really caught Frieza's interest wasn't that.

It was something far more intriguing—something called the Dragon Balls...
