Chapter 447 - Chapter 448: Vados Appears

A wave of despair surged through Trunks' heart. He was convinced that his very arrival had altered the course of history—not only causing Eighteen to appear earlier than she should have, but also introducing a completely unknown, powerful android into the mix.

Bulma, on the other hand, had no idea that the "mom" Trunks mentioned earlier referred to her. To her, he was just another troublesome delinquent.

Eighteen snorted coldly, resting one hand on her hip as she said,

"You've got a screw loose or something? Charging at me with a sword like that—if you pull that again, I won't be holding back next time!"

Trunks' entire body stiffened. He lifted his head, eyes wide with disbelief.

"You... you're not going to kill me?"

"Why would I kill anyone for no reason? Just who the hell are you, anyway? You came out of nowhere!"

Eighteen's face twisted with irritation. She stepped back to stand beside Kaito, completely ignoring Trunks.

Trunks swallowed hard, struggling to make sense of the situation.

At that moment, several sharp sounds tore through the air—Goku and the others had arrived, with Vegeta among them.

Frieza's spaceship had already been blown to pieces by Kaito, and Nappa's spherical pod had also been damaged in their earlier battle. That meant Vegeta had no way to leave Earth.

Because of Kaito's presence, Vegeta didn't dare cause trouble. With no other choice, he ended up living like a wild man in the mountains for a while.

Goku and Gohan, ever the warm-hearted pair, couldn't stand seeing Vegeta living off raw meat and rainwater. They enthusiastically invited him to stay at their home.

The ever-prideful Vegeta initially refused, but one day, when he caught a whiff of the food wafting from Chi-Chi's kitchen, the half-cooked chunk of meat in his hand suddenly didn't smell so good anymore.

His stomach's loud protest caught Goku's attention, and before he knew it, Vegeta was being dragged into the house—where he "reluctantly" devoured several dozen bowls of food.

From that day on, Vegeta became a regular at Goku's house. His appetite, rivaling Goku's own, often drove Chi-Chi up the wall.

When Vegeta saw Kaito, a rare trace of respect flashed across his face. There weren't many people who could make him feel that way. The first had been Beerus—and now, Kaito.

Goku, on the other hand, was as casual as ever. The moment he saw Kaito, he grinned and waved.

"Yo! Kaito!"

Goku's cheerful energy was infectious. Kaito smiled in return.

"Goku, good to see you again."

Aside from Kaito, the person drawing the most attention was, without question, Trunks.

He was still in Super Saiyan form, golden light shimmering across his body—impossible to ignore.

Kaito had previously given them a brief explanation about Super Saiyans, so Goku couldn't help but ask,

"This guy's got some crazy strong energy! Who is he? He looks kinda like that Super Saiyan you mentioned, doesn't he?"

Trunks had already confirmed Goku's identity from their earlier exchange. He'd seen Goku's photo back in the future, after all.

He was about to speak, but Kaito beat him to it.

"His name is Trunks. He's a Saiyan—from the future."

"From the future?!"

Goku and the others all turned to stare at Trunks in shock. Trunks himself was stunned—he looked at Kaito, eyes wide, and couldn't help but ask,

"Who are you? How do you know about me?"

His mind was a total mess. It felt like he'd come to a fake version of the future he knew.

And the cause of all these changes seemed to be standing right in front of him—the mysterious man who was clearly at the center of this group.

Kaito smiled faintly.

"I know a lot more than you think..."

Then, after a brief pause, he suddenly said something that left everyone confused.

"Come on out. How long are you planning to hide?"

Everyone looked at each other in bewilderment and began to sense around—but found nothing.

Seeing no response, Kaito casually raised his hand and fired an energy blast toward a nearby boulder.

Boom!

The boulder exploded into dust, and a tall figure emerged through the clearing smoke.

As the haze dissipated, a woman holding a staff appeared before them—Vados.

Bulma pointed at her in surprise.

"Wait, isn't that the same person who was standing next to the God of Destruction the other day? Is she... another god?"

Kaito didn't answer immediately. Narrowing his eyes slightly, he looked at Vados and said,

"So, what business does an angel from Universe Six have on Earth?"

Vados' expression remained pleasant as always. She shrugged lightly.

"We do know each other, don't we? Is this really how you greet me? How cold."

Eighteen raised an eyebrow, silently thinking,

Great, another fox-faced woman showing up out of nowhere.

But she could tell this newcomer wasn't ordinary. Just from that outfit—identical in style to Whis'—she knew this woman was someone to be wary of.

So she swallowed her annoyance and stood quietly beside Kaito, observing Vados carefully to see what she was up to.

Kaito hadn't expected Vados to appear on Earth either. Angels were masters of suppressing their ki—it was no wonder he hadn't sensed her before.

He only noticed her presence when she slipped up for a moment. When Kaito mentioned Trunks' time-traveling, Vados' emotions had fluctuated slightly, leaking a trace of energy that gave her away.

Kaito also realized that she was here because of him. It wasn't arrogance—he genuinely couldn't think of any other reason an angel from Universe Six would bother coming all the way to such an ordinary little blue planet in Universe Seven.

After thinking for a moment, Kaito spoke calmly.

"If you came here to convince me to become a candidate God of Destruction again, then I'm afraid you've wasted your trip. My answer's the same as before—no."

Vados sighed softly and said with a hint of resignation,

"Ah, you really are the straightforward type. But I can't say I'm surprised."

She hadn't just arrived on Earth—she'd actually been here for quite some time already. During that period, she'd experienced human life firsthand. The term "straightforward man" was something she'd learned here.

She had to admit, the vibrant, diverse lifestyle of Earth had been a refreshing change for an angel who'd spent eons confined to a divine temple.

Especially the food—no exaggeration, she hadn't had the same dish twice since she got here.

Remembering those days brought a genuine smile to her lips—not her usual polite, professional one, but a real, heartfelt smile.

Then, her expression gradually hardened. She turned her gaze toward Trunks, and an overwhelming pressure radiated from her presence.

"To cross time and space without permission... do you understand the sin you've committed?"
