"I'm surprised you came so willingly."
Arthas stopped at the end of the hallway, looking at Serafall.
"Hmph, I just don't want to upset Souna."
Serafall pouted, then hugged Souna apologetically.
"Sorry, Souna. I didn't think it through. But are you really okay with this? He's your familiar. You deserve the glory."
"It's okay, Sister. I've had enough glory as the Devil King's sister."
Souna smiled, unconcerned.
"It's best to keep Arthas's identity a secret. Revealing it too soon could be dangerous, especially now, during the three-faction negotiations."
"You spoil him too much! Because you spoil him, he…"
Serafall's voice trailed off. She covered her mouth, almost revealing her knowledge of Arthas and Souna's relationship.
Souna didn't notice, but Arthas raised an eyebrow, glancing at Serafall.
Souna thought her sister would be furious if she knew about her and Arthas, but Arthas guessed Serafall knew and accepted it.
An eleven-piece reincarnated devil was unpredictable. Entrusting her sister to him wasn't unreasonable.
"Even as his master, what's wrong with spoiling my familiar?"
Souna smiled. Serafall sighed.
"Fine. Your concerns are valid. Revealing him now is too dangerous. But when he's strong enough to face anything, tell everyone he's your familiar, a Sitri familiar."
"Of course, Sister. Arthas is my familiar, that will never change!"
"My little Souna has grown up. No longer clinging to her sister. Waah, I'm happy and sad. My little Souna… doesn't need me anymore?"
"Sister, don't act like that! You're the Devil King Leviathan!!"
Seeing the bickering sisters, Arthas smiled. He didn't need to say anything.
Serafall, though eccentric, wasn't blindly devoted to her sister.
The bizarre open classes ended. The three-faction negotiations began a few days later.
The meeting was held on a weekend, when Kuoh Academy was empty.
Rias, as the Occult Research Club, no, as the next head of the pure-blooded Gremory family, opened the meeting room door.
"Excuse me." Rias and Arthas entered, followed by her familiars.
The room had a luxurious table prepared for the meeting. The three factions sat around it.
The Devil faction: Devil King Sirzechs Lucifer and Serafall Leviathan. Grayfia stood by a tea cart.
The Angel faction: Michael, with golden wings and a halo, and a beautiful angel.
The Fallen Angel faction: Azazel with twelve black wings, and the White Dragon Emperor, Vali.
"This is my sister and her familiars. They were active during the Kokabiel incident." Sirzechs said proudly.
"Thank you for your hard work. Let me thank you again." Archangel Michael said, smiling at Arthas and Rias. Though they hadn't retrieved the Holy Swords, they had defeated Kokabiel, saving face for Heaven.
Fallen Angel Governor Azazel grinned.
"Long time no see, Ice Boy. Sorry for the trouble Kokabiel caused."
Azazel's tone was flippant.
"Alright, everyone's here. Everyone knows the most important rule: 'God is gone.' Let's begin."
Sirzechs waved his hand. The meeting began. The factions tested each other. The Fallen Angel Governor interjected occasionally. No one could handle him, not even the White Dragon Emperor.
"Next, Rias. Let's talk about the incident."
"Yes, Lucifer-sama."
Finally, the Kokabiel incident. Rias and Souna stepped forward. With magic, Rias calmly explained the events.
"That's my report on the Kokabiel incident."
"I, Souna Sitri, confirm the report is accurate."
The report ended. The faction leaders had different expressions.
"Good work. Step back." Sirzechs said. Serafall winked.
"Thanks, Rias-chan, Souna-chan~"
Even at this meeting, the eccentric Devil King was relaxed.
