Param was stunned, he predicted what was coming and he did knew that this would happen but he failed to convince Raghav.
Amayra couldn't take it anymore, she crouched down and pressed her palm on her mouth but some vomit still flowed out.
Raghav couldn't move his shaking pupils from the gruesome head but Param did glanced inside of the bag. It was completely filled with the other body parts of her. All of them were apart from each other and covered in blood, this scene was truly horrifying for him but he managed to keep his mind still. He dragged the bag away to take it out of Raghav's sight.
Up until now Raghav was in a huge shock because of suddenly looking at his dead mom's head but now he was slowly coming to his senses and then losing them again.
"Aaah, why, why, why her?"
He was screaming his heart out, so much that his voice shrilled as his throat parched. He kept on screaming and repeating the same words as tears kept flowing out of his eyes. Anyone would have felt his pain just by looking at his condition right now, his father couldn't bear to see him like this, he had already witnessed the death of his beloved wife. This whole situation was truly traumatic for him. He was at the point where he just wished to die and sleep forever, so he could finally escape from this pain.
Param finally crouched and held Raghav's head with his hands to force him to look up
"Raghav, Raghav look at me-."
As soon as he looked up, Param's eyebrows twitched a little as he noticed something strange. There were unusual black dots in the very center of both of Raghav's blue pupils. Not only that, his skin color was also somewhat different, it had a very light shade of blue appearing on it's surface. Not only the face, his neck, his arms and all the skin beneath was going through the same change. There was also a slight increase in his head's hair density which were swirling even without any hint of wind.
Raghav was still screaming with his mouth wide open, at a glance this whole bizarreness could be interpreted as him being corrupted by something unknown.
Param was in a complete daze and after a very short while he said in a low and slow voice
"What in the world?"
He also noticed a slight change in the temperature, Raghav's body was releasing a massive amount of heat that could even effect the temperature around him. This made Param to be even more afraid, he was just crouching there still like a statue.
Amayra wasn't aware of this as she was still on the ground all shaken because of what she saw before. But on the other side, Bhaskar whose eyes were glued to them, instantly noticed the unusual behavior of Param and how he was reacting. For some reason, he immediately looked up in the sky.
As if he was expecting it, some bizarre movements were happening in the sky. The clouds are supposed to move in the same direction as the wind guides them but in a specific region directly above Raghav, they were moving in all directions at the same time without following any kind of pattern. Some were moving anti-parallel to each other while some were repelling like 2 magnets facing the same pole. They even started to break apart and then converge again with the other ones.
Bhaskar's expression were more serious than ever
[Strange features both on the body and in the sky.] he seemed to have confirmed something as he looked back and announced with a loud voice
"We have achieved what we came for, now hurry up and escape, we do not have much time."
All the men in suits were suddenly agitated as if they knew the meaning behind those word and were actually waiting for it. A group of men which was in the very front like a vanguard lifted up there hands in the manner of pulling something up as they turned back and followed the ones behind them.
Suddenly, a huge and wide thick dirt wall was pulled up from the ground with a very little shaking, following that some particular men who were scattered evenly in the whole area lifted both of their hands up while still running, a form of wind appeared beneath them and the men surrounding them which lifted them up in the air. They also took Raghav's father, Mukesh with them.
This was a pre-planned way of escaping as they must have discussed it before. The clan members who were earth elementals and the ones who were wind elementals were just following their orders.
On the other side, Raghav was slowly coming back to his senses and his screams were fainting. Now he was looking down again in a state of sulking.
As he was not making anymore noise and wasn't in the insane state anymore, he tried talking with his friend.
"Param, we should at least save papa, is there any way we can-"
he looked up to face Param while saying that but he stopped midway.
His eyebrows twitched, he rubbed his eyes and then looked again at Param and his surroundings with a scared expression but still couldn't believe what he was seeing. Everything including Param, Amayra, his uncles, and all the other things that were present in the nature at that time were at a complete freeze.
Param and Amayra were still crouched, there was a huge dirt wall in front and his uncles were froze in the mid-air, there wasn't a single movement or a noise, not even wind could be felt. It was like the time was stopped. Like, the time actually stopped.
Raghav stood up in a shock, he placed his hands on Param to shake him up
"Hey, what the hell. Just what is this now, hey"
He couldn't get any response from him, he left the spot and walked very slowly towards the wall and then looked back at the spot again.
"There is no dead body there, so I am at least not a soul separated from the body and just hallucinating or seeing this strange things. But seriously what the hell is this, why is everything frozen, did time actually stopped? Is that even possible? If it is, then how come I can move, I am not the one who triggered this,.....right?."
As he was basking while walking, he looked down and noticed that his shadow was still moving with him.
"So everything related to me WILL move, huh."
Since, he was looking at the shadows, his glance also observed some other big shadows moving in a strange manner.
He immediately stopped at the spot and carefully observed them.
"These must be clouds." he concluded as he instantly looked up.
The clouds were still showing those bizarre movements, the only difference was that there movements had a lot more intensity now. It looked like sky was trying to break apart itself or like some unknown force was breaking it but it resisted. Even the light blue color of sky was now starting to fluctuate between different shades of blue, red and black.
Raghav couldn't take all of this in his current state, he was just looking at them with a stunned and a frightened expression but didn't dare move a muscle due to the horror.
After a short while, a slightly noticeable pattern could be observed in the clouds. Now they weren't just breaking apart and then converging again without any significance, Raghav observed them to be big capital letters of English language.
The very first letter formed out of clouds in the sky was
"A, that's an 'A' right."
Soon after, more capital letters started to form in an attempt to make a word. A word literally written in the sky.
"N"
"C"
"H"
"O"
"R"
Raghav read them one by one as they conjoined the final word
"Anchor?"
The word was Anchor.
