"But nearly thirty percent of our three years of efforts have been wasted because of him. The deaths of Guardian Pig, Ox, and Goat are directly connected to him, and three of the nine hidden Nether Formations we painstakingly laid were discovered and destroyed because of his actions."
The voice paused for a moment before continuing, "Although his cultivation is only at the Peak Golden Core Realm, the chances that he knows something about our plans cannot be ruled out. Otherwise, how could we have been so easily exposed to the Immortal Nation shortly after his arrival?"

Bai Xiaoyao's breath was soft and sweet, her voice tickling Luo Wusheng's heart.

This scene had repeated countless times along the way.
Both girls seemed to have come prepared, offering different yet equally persuasive suggestions like tour guides eager to showcase the wonders of Qifeng City.

'It seems these two were planning this trip for fun from the start... I thought they might have other business, but I guess I was overthinking it.'
It appeared that the only one with actual responsibilities was himself.
