Chapter 21 - The Miracle of love

"The Scent of Innocent Moments"

.

.

What will this mirror tell you about your personality?

Look through my eyes, how beautiful and amazing you are.

.

As they walked through the mall, the two passed by a colorful play area.

Ramish smiled and asked,

"Richer, is this really a place for adults to play?"

Richer pointed toward the board above the entrance.

"It says 'For All Ages'—see? So yes, it's for everyone."

A mischievous smile appeared on Ramish's lips.

"Then let's go inside."

Richer gently stopped him.

"Not now. Let's finish shopping first."

Ramish protested softly,

"We'll do that too, but first, I want to go in here—with you."

Richer made a slightly annoyed face.

"Ramish, you're being stubborn again—just like a kid."

Ramish's tone grew quiet, almost wistful.

"Richer… I've never been inside a play area before—not even as a child.

I just want to play a little today—with you.

But if you don't feel like it, let's go to forward."

Richer looked at him for a moment—

in Ramish's eyes was a soft, innocent longing, almost childlike.

Richer smiled tenderly.

"Alright. There's no need to be sad now..

We'll enjoy the play area first—then do the rest of the shopping."

Ramish's face lit up instantly, glowing with joy.

Without thinking, he lifted Richer into his arms and spun around happily.

Richer blushed and laughed,

"Ramish! What are you doing? Everyone's looking at us!"

Ramish gently set him down, his voice full of affection.

"Thank you, Richer… you just gave me my childhood back."

A soft smile curved Richer's lips.

"Come on, let's see which game you want to play first."

Ramish pointed toward one side.

"That one—the bowling game!"

Richer laughed.

"Alright, let's see who wins then!"

They walked to the bowling lane.

Ramish threw the first ball—but it rolled off to the side.

Richer laughed.

"See? Let me show you how to knock them all down!"

He bowled—two or three pins fell.

Ramish teased playfully,

"Wow, looks like you might get them all next time!"

Richer threw again—this time, every single pin toppled.

He jumped in excitement.

"See? I told you! A perfect strike!"

Ramish looked at him with admiration.

"That was amazing, Richer. You're really good at this."

Richer chuckled.

"Now it's your turn. If you play well, you might just win!"

Ramish smiled softly,

"I don't want to win against you, Richer… I want to win you.

If I win, you'll be mine.

And if I lose… I'll be yours."

Richer's cheeks flushed crimson.

"Ramish! Just focus on the game!"

Ramish laughed.

"Alright, but at least kiss my hand for luck. Then you'll see the magic."

Richer's heartbeat quickened.

He blushed, hesitated, then leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on Ramish's hand.

Ramish grinned.

"Now watch—the power of your love."

He picked up the ball and threw it—

and all the pins fell in one go.

Richer stared at him in astonishment.

Ramish turned to him, his eyes glowing.

"Told you—it's the magic of your love."

Both burst out laughing, teasing each other as they played again and again.

Love had become a game,

and the game had become something as beautiful as love itself.

After a while, still laughing, they moved toward the next section.

They stepped into the trampoline park,

and Ramish looked around in surprise.

"There doesn't seem to be any game here," he said with a smile.

Richer laughed softly.

"This is a trampoline park, Ramish.

You jump here—it's a different kind of fun.

Here, you can relive your childhood again."

Ramish's eyes sparkled.

"Then let's call childhood back once more."

They both entered the jumping area, laughing like kids.

Richer extended his hands.

"Ramish, hold my hands—we'll jump together."

Ramish smiled playfully and took his hands.

They looked into each other's eyes for a moment,

then leaped together—

as if their hearts, too, were flying through the air.

Richer laughed,

"Don't be scared, Ramish! Enjoy the moment!"

Ramish smiled back,

"How can I be scared—when you're with me?"

Their laughter echoed all around,

their joy bouncing in the air like light.

Suddenly, Ramish lost his balance—

he fell down, and in the next instant,

Richer fell straight on top of him..

For a heartbeat, the world went still—

their breaths mingled with each other,

And their lips touched each other softly.

A silence… yet so full of meaning.

A new feeling awakened between them—gentle, electric, undeniable.

Richer slowly lifted his head,

his eyes shimmering with surprise and shy warmth.

Ramish smiled, that deep, loving smile that said,

"This moment belongs to us."

Richer lowered his gaze, blushing,

then suddenly laughed and stood up.

"Come on, Ramish! Let's see if you can catch me now!"

He bounced away, laughing and running,

and Ramish chased after him, smiling like a child.

Their laughter filled the air,

soft and pure—

like love itself, echoing through the park,

A soft scent of love was spreading through the air of the park.

Richer was still trying to steady himself when Ramish caught him tightly, and both of them fell back laughing onto the jumping area.

Ramish laughed and said,

"See! I caught you, Richer!"

Richer made a slight face and said,

"Catching me is fine, but if we keep falling like this, we'll both get hurt!"

Ramish smiled mischievously and turned slightly.

Now Richer was beneath him, and Ramish was on top.

Ramish softly said,

"As long as I'm here, nothing can hurt you, Richer… and if you're with me, how could I ever be hurt?"

Richer laughed and shook his head.

"Alright, enough now. Get up—people are watching."

Ramish teased,

"My heart wants to stay like this,

to feel the warmth of your body,

the fragrance of your skin…"

Richer's face flushed with both shyness and softness.

He chuckled lightly,

"I'm all sweaty right now—surely you wouldn't want that fragrance."

Ramish looked closely.

Sweat from Richer's hair had trickled down to his cheeks.

Ramish slowly leaned forward and pressed his cheek against Richer's.

The moment his soft skin touched Richer's damp face, Richer closed his eyes.

Ramish gently brushed his cheek along Richer's,

and then did the same on the other side—

as if he wanted to capture that scent in his breath forever.

Richer's heartbeat quickened.

Blushing, he whispered,

"Ramish… what are you doing?"

Ramish replied softly,

"I'm decorating my face with the scent of your skin…"

Richer opened his eyes and quickly looked around in panic.

"Ramish! Move away—people are watching!"

Ramish smiled and brought his face even closer,

brushing his nose lightly against Richer's nose,

and murmured,

"Why do you care so much about people, Richer?"

Hearing this, Richer blushed deeply and gently pushed him away.

Ramish fell back, and Richer landed on top of him this time.

Taking a deep breath and smiling, Richer said,

"Ramish, how do you do all this so easily?"

Ramish replied playfully,

"It's all the magic of your love, Richer…"

Richer quickly placed his hand over Ramish's mouth.

"Quiet, please… enough for now.

Let's go outside. I'm tired after all this jumping.

We should rest for a bit."

Ramish moved his hand aside with a smile.

"Alright, as you say…"

Both walked toward the resting area.

As Richer sat down, he said,

"There's an arcade game area here too.

Do you want to go there?

Though honestly, I'm a bit tired—I wonder how we'll finish the rest of the shopping."

Ramish replied gently,

"Not now. I'm hungry.

Let's eat something, rest a little,

and then we'll do the rest of the shopping."

Richer chuckled softly,

"Alright then… if you really want to go to the arcade, we can—"

Ramish interrupted kindly,

"We'll go, but not today.

You're tired enough already.

I'm just happy I got to spend such a wonderful time with you."

Then, both of them walked toward the dining area, laughing softly.

Their faces still carried the same smile—

the kind that rises from the heart, reaches the face,

and turns a fleeting moment into something eternal.
