c141 – Mega Salamence
"Escape? Where else do you think you can run? Solgaleo Teleport in front and use Stone Edge!"
Chen Xiaoxiao's voice was cold and mocking as she watched Prince Hui's Salamence bank sharply in an attempt to slip away.
Solgaleo's body flashed with a burst of white light and instantly reappeared ahead of Salamence. From the ground far below, jagged pillars of rock erupted upward, dozens at once, aimed to slice through Salamence's flight path the same technique recorded in League archives when Steven Stone's Aggron once trapped an entire flock of Fearow mid-flight.
"Damn it! Salamence, hard turn!" Prince Hui barked.
Salamence twisted its crescent wings violently, skimming just past the rock spires, shards scraping against its armored belly as it narrowly avoided the impact.
From behind, Gym Leader Lin swung his Aerodactyl wide to cut off the retreat, while Xiao Wang closed from the opposite side. The three trainers now formed a tightening triangle, hemming Prince Hui in.
"Salamence Mega Evolve!"
Hui's voice was sharp. His hand dropped to the Mega Keystone on his wrist, and a surge of blinding light enveloped Salamence. The energy of Mega Evolution flared—the same fierce glow that had once transformed Alain's Charizard into an unstoppable force in the Kalos battles.
The dragon's wings twisted and fused into massive, crescent-shaped blades. Its body became sleeker, limbs shortening for aerial speed, red skin gleaming beneath peeled-away armor. The elongated head crests jutted forward like scythes, and its tail narrowed into a whip-like blade.

Level: 77 (Peak Elite) → Mega Level 182 (Champion-class)
Type: Dragon / Flying
"Haha! I'll show you the real power of Mega Salamence! Dragon Rush now!"
The air pressure shifted violently as Salamence's aura condensed into a tangible, almost metallic shell of energy. With a roar, the Mega Dragon hurtled forward at Lin's Kartana, leaving a shockwave in its wake.
"Kartana Protect!" Lin shouted.
A shimmering barrier of green energy formed around the Ultra Beast, just in time to meet the impact.
BOOM!
The collision shook the air. Kartana slid back, talons digging into Aerodactyl's crest, the Protect barrier straining under the force before finally shattering.
"Solgaleo Rock Slide!" Chen seized the opening.
Massive boulders materialized above Solgaleo and rained toward Salamence's flank.
"Push through, Salamence!" Prince Hui snarled.
The dragon twisted in midair, pouring more power into its charge, smashing through Kartana's position and forcing the Ultra Beast back several meters. The rocks whistled past close enough to graze, but not enough to land solidly.
Prince Hui's earlier arrogance faltered sweat now trickled down his temple. "Salamence, move! Don't engage!"
With Mega Evolution boosting both speed and aerial maneuverability, Salamence surged forward, wind screaming past as it shot hundreds of meters ahead in seconds. Aerodactyls at Elite-level simply couldn't match the velocity of a Champion-tier Mega Dragon.
Chen Xiaoxiao's eyes narrowed. "Master Lin, Xiao Wang pressure him from the rear. I'll intercept head-on!"
"Aerodactyl Dragon Pulse!" the two trainers commanded in unison.
Twin beams of spiraling draconic energy lanced forward toward Salamence's tail.
"Solgaleo Teleport!"
No matter how fast Salamence could fly, nothing outran instant space-folding. In a flash, the Sunne Pokémon appeared directly in Salamence's flight path.
"Zen Headbutt full force!" Chen barked.
Solgaleo's mane flared blue, psychic energy condensing into a blazing sphere on its forehead. The lion lunged, timing its attack with perfect precision.
Prince Hui's pupils shrank. "Damn Teleport! Salamence Dragon Rush, crush it!"
Wrapped once more in that terrifying draconic aura, Salamence accelerated, aiming to smash headlong into Solgaleo. Hui's lips curled in a twisted grin until he caught Chen Xiaoxiao's own mocking smile, as if daring him to try.
The two forces met with an earsplitting CRACK of energy against energy. Despite Dragon Rush's ferocity, Solgaleo's sheer mass and Champion-tier psychic focus overwhelmed it, scattering the aura like dust in the wind.
The impact hurled Salamence backward like a cannonball, the force reverberating through its rider. Prince Hui coughed blood, clutching at the saddle as his mount tumbled.
"How ?!" Hui gasped, horror dawning as he realized his Mega Salamence famed for its impenetrable speed and power.had been overpowered so cleanly.
Before he could recover, the two Dragon Pulses from Lin and Xiao Wang slammed into Salamence's back, detonating in a double burst of blue-white energy.
BOOM!
The shockwave lit the night sky over Guancheng like lightning, the Champion-tier dragon reeling midair, its crescent wings faltering.
