There would be no training and no football. After everything they had been through, the squad needed some time to relax and enjoy the support they had received from the town.


The players spent the day with their families and friends. Some went out for meals, while others stayed home and enjoyed some quiet time. Around Crawley, people continued to talk about the team and their FA Cup run.


Children played football in the streets, pretending to be Max or Thiago. In the pubs, supporters celebrated together, while people stopped the players when they saw them and thanked them for the memories they had created.
