Kickoff: Crawley Town Vs Chelsea
The referee blew his whistle at 3:00 p.m.
The ball was played from the centre, and the FA Cup final was underway.
Wembley erupted. Chelsea supporters filled most of the stadium, singing and waving blue flags, while the Crawley fans in their corner answered with their own chants.
"Crawley! Crawley!"
The pitch was still slightly damp from the morning, and the players settled quickly into the game.
Max took his position at the back. He adjusted his captain's armband and glanced toward the goal.
For a second, he thought about the small painted stone waiting in his locker.
"For home," he whispered.
Thiago moved out toward the right side, already looking for space. The red ribbon around his wrist was still in place.
Luka took up his position in midfield. He kept his eyes on the Chelsea players, watching their movement and waiting for an opportunity.
Niels stood near the touchline.
