"When you are connected to the natural mana, you are merely observing. You are feeling the mana as it flows through the world. You know about its natural alignment," she said. "But when you begin to influence it, shift it, bend it, mask yourself within it, you step into true mastery."
"Right now, I am still here," she said, "and anyone can sense me because I am disturbing this natural alignment. I am the ripple in the static pond."
"But," she said. "With my ability to control and influence the natural mana, I remove this disturbance I am causing in the natural mana."
"I control this disturbed mana to remain in its natural state and not change because of my presence," she continued. "I do not let my presence or my mana to affect the natural alignment."
