Huo Yutong had just finished her training for the day and was preparing to begin her meditation. But as soon as she walked out of the experimental area, someone informed her that a visitor had come to see Lin Qinghan.
When she heard that the visitor was waiting at the academy gate, Huo Yutong didn't hesitate. She immediately went to meet them.

"Donger? Why are you here? Didn't Brother Qinghan say he just visited Shrek Academy recently?"
"Hehe, it's vacation time. There are no assignments in the inner courtyard right now, so I asked my teacher for extended leave."
Wang Donger smiled, then grabbed Huo Yutong's hand and eagerly pulled her toward the inner academy.
"Hurry, take me to find Qinghan. I haven't seen him in ages."
Seeing Wang Donger so full of excitement, Huo Yutong considered telling her that Lin Qinghan had been away for a while—but in the end, she didn't.
"I'll take you to Brother Qinghan's dorm first."
Huo Yutong knew Wang Donger well. Back when she and Lin Qinghan were in Shrek Academy, Wang Donger had always behaved like a sheltered girl.
At the time, Huo Yutong thought it was just because she was young. But even now, at sixteen, Wang Donger still acted like she was eleven.
Physically, though, things had certainly changed.
Looking at Wang Donger's towering figure compared to her own, Huo Yutong suddenly felt that all her earlier sympathy had been unnecessary.
Her own body hadn't changed much at all—aside from a slightly fuller chest, she was the same height as when she first entered Shrek.
Meanwhile, Wang Donger had grown to nearly 1.7 meters tall—over half a head taller than her.
The two girls moved quickly, and under Huo Yutong's guidance, they soon arrived at Lin Qinghan's dorm.
"Your accommodations here are way better than in Shrek's inner courtyard. A two-story apartment, really?"
Wang Donger looked around curiously after entering, clearly searching for Lin Qinghan.
"Where is Qinghan? Didn't you say he doesn't usually go to class? Why isn't he here? Did he go out?"
She looked confused and turned to Huo Yutong, clearly eager to find Lin Qinghan.
"Actually, Brother Qinghan left a few days ago. He probably won't be back any time soon."
Huo Yutong sat across from Wang Donger and pulled out a book, reading it calmly.
The two of them were friends—and through Lin Qinghan, like sisters—but not so close that a year apart would make them desperate to reunite.
"Ah? Qinghan went out? And he won't be back for a while?"
Wang Donger was stunned.
If what Huo Yutong said was true, and she had to wait several days to see him, that would be a problem.
After all, she had only just convinced her family to let Lin Qinghan visit. If she didn't bring him back soon, her fathers—especially her eldest and second fathers—might lose patience.
"Then I'll wait. He'll be back within a week, right?"
Of course Wang Donger wouldn't leave so easily. She decided to stay and wait. Even if she couldn't take Lin Qinghan back with her, she wasn't going to leave empty-handed.
"Alright. If you want to wait, you can stay in Brother Qinghan's dorm."
"But I have to say—are the accommodations here in the Sun and Moon Empire always this good? A private apartment more luxurious than Shrek's—and no restrictions on outsiders moving in?"

In the Sun and Moon Royal Soul Instructor Academy, inside Lin Qinghan's apartment, Huo Yutong stood beside Wang Donger.
Wang Donger's face lit up the moment she saw Lin Qinghan.
According to what Huo Yutong had told her, Lin Qinghan wouldn't return for more than a week—so she had mentally prepared herself to wait for up to half a month.
But unexpectedly, before she had even unpacked, Lin Qinghan returned.
"Donger? Why are you here? Didn't I just visit you and Xiao Xiao at Shrek?"
"I missed you, obviously! What, you're not happy to see me?"
Wang Donger threw herself into Lin Qinghan's arms and began to act coy, her face radiant with joy.
Even after a long journey, she still looked fresh—clearly, she had tidied herself up beforehand.
"Of course I'm happy to see you. But... isn't Xiao Xiao with you?"
Lin Qinghan hugged her. He had only visited Shrek recently, so it was odd that Wang Donger had come all the way here again. She must have had a specific reason.
If she was here to invite him to the Clear Sky Sect, like in the original timeline, Lin Qinghan was actually looking forward to it.
His divine sense now covered most of the Douluo Continent. It wasn't for lack of trying that he hadn't detected the Clear Sky Sect—it was simply hidden by a powerful force.
That level of concealment could only belong to someone with at least first-level god power.
And the only person Lin Qinghan could think of, connected to the Clear Sky Sect and possessing such strength, was God King Tang San.
"You probably have something to talk about, right? But it's getting late—let's save it for tomorrow. I'll take you to dinner first."
Lin Qinghan ruffled Wang Donger's hair, then stood up. He held Wang Donger with his right hand and Huo Yutong with his left. With a flash of silver light, the three of them vanished—reappearing moments later in the palace of the Sun and Moon Empire.
