"Where is Zavren and Zekel? The visitors are here already," Queen Diana spoke as she tried to keep a calm voice, but the worry was still in her tone.
The maid lowered her head respectfully, and just as she was about to speak, a voice spoke from behind.
"Mother, worry not. Everything is going to be fine," Zekel said. He understood that his mother would be worried, especially given that another species of visitors were visiting.
The vampires rarely visited—perhaps once every month. Not really rare, but sometimes they usually chose to stay long, or leave that same day. However, Zekel was sure they would be staying longer this time, as there would be a ball in a week's time.
Queen Diana finally turned to him with a warning glare at how nonchalant he was acting. He was now wearing a princely attire matching the color of the queen's gown.
"Let's go," she said as she turned, but then halted and turned back to him.
