"Damn bitch, this is all your fault!" the swordsman yelled, his face twisted with rage.
"Shut up," the tiger woman snapped coldly.
"If you hadn't babbled so much, this would've been settled cleanly."
"I'm telling my senior brother about this!" the swordsman threatened.
The tiger woman's eyes narrowed, killing intent leaking out uncontrollably.
"Then make sure," she said slowly, voice heavy with menace, "that whatever happens between us stays buried."
The swordsman scoffed.
"Am I some mindless beast like you?"
Their quarrel continued.
Meanwhile, far away from that mess.
Yu Xuan and Baozi strolled leisurely through the bustling streets, looking every bit like carefree loafers who had nothing better to do.
"Did you really need to take the silkworm?" Yu Xuan asked casually.
Baozi shrugged.
"Naaaah."
Yu Xuan glanced at him sideways.
"Then why did you?"
Baozi grinned faintly.
"Because we are off duty today."
Yu Xuan nodded thoughtfully.
