Chapter 328 - Chapter 331: Searching for Hagrid

Of course, Sean didn't choose to directly kill Scull.

The use of the Veneno jinx depended entirely on one's intent. Since Sean wanted to show mercy, the toxin shot out by Veneno could bring down Scull without directly killing him.

Sizzle sizzle sizzle...

Purple-black web-like patterns spread beneath Scull's fur across his skin surface, covering his entire body in the blink of an eye. This was a sign of the toxin spreading throughout his body via his bloodstream. Scull completely collapsed to the ground as a result, unable to move.

Looking at Scull in this state, Sean turned to Dumbledore. "Professor, I've subdued him."

Dumbledore slowly walked out, and seeing Dumbledore, Scull became even more desperate. He knew he would have no luck whatsoever. In front of Dumbledore, even Voldemort wouldn't dare claim he could definitely defeat him.

Looking at Scull, Dumbledore slowly nodded. "After Fenrir's death, the Greyback clan indeed got a new Wolf King. It's just a pity this new Wolf King still chose to follow Voldemort as his lackey."

"Professor, what should we do now?"

"Now we naturally need to find Hagrid."

That's right. Scull had come to Hogwarts disguised as Hagrid.

Actually, ever since Sean discovered that Hagrid had stopped chasing after Madame Maxime's coattails trying to get to know her, he had already become somewhat suspicious.

Later, when Sean paid careful attention and observed that this Hagrid would use the excuse of patrolling the Forbidden Forest every full moon night and that his classes had actually become somewhat organised, Sean became even more suspicious of him.

Finally, on the night of the Christmas Ball, Sean saw Hagrid with Fang, but he could clearly see Fang's dull expression and that familiar feeling about him. He immediately knew that Fang had been affected by the Canino curse. Since, besides himself, this magic existed as a special ability of werewolf kings, Sean knew at that moment that the Hagrid before him was probably a werewolf in disguise.

So when Sean had his suspicions, he went to find Dumbledore, told him his guesses, and the two briefly discussed before deciding to monitor the fake Hagrid on the first full moon night after the Christmas Ball and holidays, implementing a replacement plan. They would keep Hagrid hidden while having someone else continue impersonating Hagrid to draw out other Death Eaters hiding in Hogwarts!

Sean raised his wand, aimed at Scull, and directly recited the incantation.

"Legilimens!"

The spell was cast, and countless blurry images appeared in Sean's mind.

He continuously adjusted the magic, but these memory images never became clear. Obviously, Scull was resisting Sean's attempt to read his memories.

Tsk... Troublesome fellow.

Legilimency ended. Sean gained nothing.

"Professor Dumbledore, it seems I'll need you to take action."

"Actually, I don't need to take action. Isn't Fang right over there?"

Hearing Dumbledore's words, Sean paused, then nodded in realisation. He waved his wand, pointed at Fang, cast Canino, and gave Fang his command.

"Fang, go find Hagrid. We're going to rescue him!"

Hearing this, Fang immediately rushed into the depths of the Forbidden Forest, charging forward rapidly like a mad dog.

At this moment, Dumbledore said to Sean, "Sean, you go ahead. I'll stay here and watch over Scull."

Sean looked at Dumbledore. Whether he genuinely just wanted to guard Scull or wanted to do something to him while Sean was away, Sean didn't want to know and didn't want to worry about it.

It was best to meddle less in Dumbledore's affairs. The more you got involved, the easier it was to get trapped.

Actually, if this Death Eater operation wasn't clearly targeting him and threatening his safety, Sean wouldn't have been so proactive in helping Dumbledore expose the Death Eaters hiding in Hogwarts.

Running quickly through the forest.

With his Wolf's Agility and Wolf's Swiftness talents, Sean's running through the forest was like walking on flat ground. In the blink of an eye, he caught up with Fang and came to a deep cave.

"Woof! Woof!"

Hearing Fang's barking, Sean knew Hagrid should be hidden here.

Waving his wand to create a light source floating around him, Sean walked straight in. There were no ambushes or guards as he had imagined, so Sean successfully found Hagrid locked up and unconscious in the depths of the cave.

Walking forward, he carefully examined Hagrid's condition.

Soon Sean had his conclusion. Hagrid had been hit with the Imperius Curse and also fed some potions. With this double approach, even Hagrid as a half-giant couldn't continue and had completely fallen unconscious.

It was also fortunate that Scull's Polyjuice Potion required tissue from Hagrid's body, so every so often he would feed Hagrid some potions to maintain his body and hadn't killed him. Otherwise, Hagrid would have had a hard time surviving these past days.

"Woof woof..."

Hearing Fang's barking, Sean knew Fang was urging him on.

Waving his wand, the chains binding Hagrid immediately broke apart, then Hagrid floated up as if lying on an invisible large bed, following Sean and floating in mid-air as they left the cave.

Because Hagrid was with them, Sean didn't walk too fast.

Just then, Fang suddenly tucked his tail between his legs. If Hagrid wasn't right here, Fang probably would have already run away.

Seeing Fang's behaviour, Sean also immediately heard some rustling sounds. Turning to look, his vision enhanced by Wolf's Agility immediately saw two car-sized Acromantulas slowly approaching him. But when they saw Hagrid behind Sean, they immediately turned and left, disappearing into the depths of the Forbidden Forest.

Seeing the Acromantulas' actions, Sean shook his head somewhat regretfully. Though he didn't know what abilities Acromantulas could give him, he had some expectations. Unfortunately, they probably left directly because they saw Hagrid, which was somewhat disappointing.

Seeing the two Acromantulas leave, Sean could only continue forward.

When Sean returned to the previous location, Dumbledore was already standing nearby, bored and observing an insect on a tree.

Turning to look at Hagrid behind Sean, Dumbledore immediately said, "I've already contacted Poppy to come over, so let's wait here for a while. We can also wait for Lupin to arrive."

Using a werewolf to replace a werewolf.

This was Sean's plan, which Dumbledore also strongly agreed with. Moreover, this way, with the meticulous Lupin at Hogwarts, Hogwarts' security could be raised another level.
