Chapter 241: Encounter with Werewolves

"What are the detailed details about that smuggling boss?"

"Master, his name is Howard. No one knows his surname. Everyone calls him Boss Howard, and his close subordinates call him Papa Howard. Howard is a very burly man with three parallel knife scars on his face.

"But in my opinion, some of his behaviors are actually quite elegant. He's holding himself back, trying to appear rougher than he is, but after following Borrell for so long, I can recognize true refinement when I see it. This Howard, I'm betting he's from some pure-blood noble family."

Hearing this, Sean's eyebrow raised slightly.

From some pure-blood noble family?

"Continue investigating this point, but still be careful not to be discovered. Stay hidden, understand?"

"Yes, master."

Looking at Marlowe, who appeared as a middle-aged witch and was bowing slightly to him, Sean's mouth twitched slightly, then said again: "You can closely monitor the situation there. If there's an opportunity, notify me immediately. We must control that Howard and keep him firmly in our grasp."

"I understand."

"Alright, that's all for this time. If there's nothing else, I'll head back first."

"Master, please be careful on your way back."

Nodding, Sean turned and left the Three Broomsticks.

It was already nightfall, and Sean headed directly out of Hogsmeade.

However, just as he walked toward the Shrieking Shack, a faint gaze fell upon Sean, like a hunter spotting prey, carrying aggression and murderous desire.

This abnormal gaze was naturally caught by Sean.

But Sean's steps didn't pause at all. Instead, he continued walking toward the Shrieking Shack. Just as Sean pushed open the door of the Shrieking Shack and walked in, he immediately cast a Disillusionment Charm and stood behind the door.

Sean didn't have to hide long before the door was pushed open again. Two cloaked figures entered the Shrieking Shack one after another, looking around.

"Iron Claw, I should have told you. We came here this time to make contact with the target. If you rashly create carnage here and cause the target to hide in Hogwarts without coming out, how should we complete our mission?"

The person called Iron Claw appeared to be in his thirties or forties. He was currently looking down slightly, searching around for something. Hearing Silver Fang's words, he said carelessly: "Silver Fang, don't worry. Today isn't a full moon anyway. Even if one or two people die, no one will guess it was us.

"Besides, I'll clean up properly afterward. We don't know how long we'll be stuck here. Are we supposed to live like celibate monks? You can restrain yourself, but I can't. Human flesh... if I go without it for too long, I get this craving. This one looks about the right age, I..."

Iron Claw didn't finish his words before suddenly stopping in place, turning toward the Shrieking Shack door, and sniffing.

Although in human form, Iron Claw and Silver Fang had been werewolves for many years. Even when maintaining human form, they retained some werewolf characteristics, like sharp nails and teeth and a superior sense of smell beyond normal humans.

Iron Claw kept sniffing, then said somewhat puzzled: "Strange, the scent gets fainter the deeper inside, but it's strongest at the door. Could he have discovered us and slipped out just after entering?"

Many werewolves hadn't received systematic education.

If not for Dumbledore's guarantee, Lupin also couldn't have entered Hogwarts for education.

Although Iron Claw was also a wizard, he hadn't received education since childhood. He wasn't particularly gifted either, and no wizard thought highly enough of him to take him as an apprentice. In terms of magic, Iron Claw wasn't particularly skilled.

Silver Fang, on the other hand, was someone unwilling to give up his wizard identity. When he heard Iron Claw's words, he immediately realized that the person from before must have used a Disillusionment Charm to hide!

"Iron Claw, attack! It's a Disillusionment Charm!"

Silver Fang and Iron Claw drew their wands together. On non-full-moon nights, their combat methods still relied on using magic and wands.

However, in a non-werewolf state, Iron Claw and Silver Fang's magical level really wasn't enough for Sean to fight alone.

"Bombarda!"

A yellow fireball appeared before Iron Claw and Silver Fang as Sean's form materialized, exploding instantly just before they could wave their wands to cast spells.

Boom...

The fireball exploded, and Iron Claw and Silver Fang were sent flying with flames wrapped around them, crashing hard into walls and broken furniture in the Shrieking Shack.

While Sean had been hiding earlier, he had already learned these two guys' identities from their conversation.

He knew they were werewolves.

Actually, Sean had no discrimination against werewolves. To him, werewolf wizards were no different from ordinary wizards. But from these two guys' conversation, it was clear they had completely identified with their werewolf identity, had cut themselves off from the human community, and even treated humans as food and objects of amusement.

Such people, whether werewolves or ordinary wizards, were scum. Sean had no psychological burden killing them.

"Bastard, you burned me! Burned me! I'll kill you, kill you!"

Werewolf wizards, even in human state, had physical abilities superior to ordinary people. One Blasting Curse hadn't immediately killed them, and they even charged back at Sean.

Seeing Iron Claw pouncing toward him, Sean stood in place as if frightened stupid.

Seeing this, Iron Claw's face, already blackened by high-temperature burns, showed an excited and cruel expression. He raised both hands, grabbing directly at Sean.

Just as his hands with sharp nails were about to grab Sean, a hand like an iron clamp suddenly reached out, grabbed Iron Claw's neck, and with tremendous force, slammed Iron Claw to the ground.

"What..."

Iron Claw looked in shock at Sean, who had pinned him to the ground. He didn't understand why this human's strength could actually suppress his own. Iron Claw reached out again, wanting to resist, but just then, the hand gripping his neck suddenly tightened and directly twisted Iron Claw's neck, causing his outstretched arms to lose strength and fall limply to the ground.

Having killed Iron Claw, Sean looked up at Silver Fang, who had already escaped from the Shrieking Shack. Carrying Iron Claw's corpse with one hand, he chased in the direction Silver Fang had fled.
