"Cedric" I called in both excitement and embarrassment. I was excited it was him, and not Declan who had come in at this point, as Declan would have only made matters worse. Yet, I was embarrassed that he had seen me in the position he did with that monster.
"He's bothering you, isn't he?" He asked. I looked at the retreating figure for a slight second, and shrugged. What was he supposed to do when Declan had outrightly told them not to be nice to me?
"I can talk to Declan if you want," he suggested, and I shot him a look. Is he crazy?
"Didn't Declan cause all of these in the first place?" I asked simply, dismissing his suggestion without calling it stupid. He is trying to help as it seemed but I didn't see how he can actually help. Especially not when Declan was involve.
"I will talk to him myself," Cedric suggested again, and I sighed. He sure doesn't know when to quit, does he?
