"I'm too tired for a hearing now. We will do it tomorrow." Avira replied. Although she sounded more like her usual self, she still didn't sound it right, and I fully understood.
Having spent the last twenty four hours walking to and from Unity pack, tiredness was very much expected. In fact, Dylan was wrong to mention the hearing to her in the first place.
"The hearing would be between us, pack members are not invited." She added, and I threw her a look, but she was already heading inside. She wouldn't be tired by tomorrow morning, and I couldn't see any other reason why pack members should not be invited.
"Is it just me, or does this seem strange to you as well?" asked Dylan who only shrugged, and resumed looking at the retreating figure in front of us.
"She's been through a lot lately. Let her." He replied after Avira had gone out of sight.
He was right about Avira being through so much, and maybe we should let her, or maybe not.
