I felt my heart sink into my stomach once Dylan's words sank in.
The wind wasn't ordinary after all!
"Is he alone?" I asked, my lips quivering.
"He's with Cedric." Dylan said simply, but I heard the sadness in his voice plus it explained a lot.
It explained how they got past the pack's border, and the warning bell was not sounded, it explained how they got in. Cedric, being the most trusted warrior of TwinMoon pack, must be under Alpha Vincent's control, and had led him through one secret entrance to the pack. I dragged in a fearful breath, and then I straightened up.
"What can we do?" I asked, looking at Dylan. But he only shrugged. He was trying hard to hide it, but I could see the fear in his eyes.
"We need a plan," I said quickly. "We need to put up with a fight, try something. Anything." This wasn't me speaking, but fear. That Declan was down only made it worse.
