However, Paimon quickly pulled herself together and temporarily set Eula's matter aside.

After that, Shao Yun, Lumine, and Paimon followed the road forward together and arrived before Fountain of Lucine.

Looking up, a magnificent and breathtaking fountain appeared before them.

Crystal-clear spring water continuously surged from the top, then transformed into towering, translucent columns of water that crashed down into the basin below.

Under the bright sunlight, the water columns refracted dazzling, brilliant light.

Paimon stared at the fountain ahead and couldn't help muttering softly, "Wow… is this the Fountain of Lucine that Euphrasie told us about?"

"It really lives up to its reputation! It feels way bigger than the fountain plaza in Mondstadt…"

Shao Yun stepped forward to the edge of the fountain's pool and gazed at the water with great interest.

Suddenly, an idea struck him, and he joked to Paimon, "Paimon, do you think throwing Mora into this fountain would make wishes come true?"

Listening to Shao Yun's idea, Paimon shook her head helplessly and said with a wry smile, "I just hope you don't end up summoning Anna's brother, Anthony."

"Back then, just to cure Anna's illness, that guy actually snuck to Mondstadt's fountain plaza in the middle of the night to fish for Mora!"

At that, Paimon hurriedly added another sentence.

"But, well… ever since Anna recovered, it seems like he hasn't done anything like that again."

At that moment, without any warning, Lynette's voice suddenly came from behind Shao Yun and Paimon.

"I advise you not to do that. Throwing trash into Fountain of Lucine will get you fined."

The sudden voice startled Paimon badly. Her whole body jolted, and with a "whoosh," she darted straight into Shao Yun's arms.

"Wah! Oh my god! Lynette! You scared me to death! Why are you so quiet, just like a cat?!"

Lynette's cute cat ears twitched slightly. She tilted her head and wore an innocent, blank expression, then even imitated a cat and meowed twice.

"Meow meow?"

Seeing Lynette act so playfully and adorably, Paimon scratched her head awkwardly and admitted sheepishly,

"Uh… alright, alright. Looks like everything I just said was totally unnecessary."

Lynette then gave Paimon a detailed introduction to the fountain before them.

"This fountain is called 'Fountain of Lucine.' It's where all of Fontaine's waters converge. Newlywed couples in Fontaine have a tradition of coming here to pray for children."

Lynette slightly raised her hand and pointed into the distance as she continued, "Look over there—there just happen to be several newlywed couples making wishes right now."

Following the direction of Lynette's finger, they could see several pairs of newlyweds standing beside Fountain of Lucine, praying devoutly.

Seeing this scene, Shao Yun's eyes immediately lit up. He turned around excitedly and called out to Lumine behind him, "Wow, Lumine! How about we make a wish too?"

Lumine seemed to be lost in thought, looking a little dazed.

Hearing Shao Yun's voice, she snapped back to her senses and hurriedly shook her head and waved her hands. "Hey, don't mess around! We're not from Fontaine."

"Besides, I think this kind of thing is probably just psychological comfort!"

Shao Yun didn't care about any of that. He grabbed Lumine by the arm and dragged her straight over to the edge of Fountain of Lucine.

Then he grinned and coaxed her, "Alright, alright, just make a wish. It's not like it'll cost you a piece of flesh."

Seeing how insistent Shao Yun was, Lumine really had no way to refuse. She could only nod helplessly and close her eyes along with him.

The two stood side by side, facing the clear waters of Fountain of Lucine as they made their wishes.

While wishing, Lumine lowered her voice and muttered softly, "But if this mysterious Fountain of Lucine really is that magical and actually answers prayers… then ten months from now, I might really lose a piece of flesh…"

Hearing such blunt conversation, Paimon couldn't help but look troubled and quickly spoke up to stop them. "Hey, hey! You two, don't talk about such private topics out here in public! Don't forget—Lynette is still here!"

However, Lynette didn't show much surprise or embarrassment at all. She simply responded calmly, "It's fine. I know a bit about this kind of knowledge… it's not really something to be ashamed of."

Hearing Lynette's composed reply, Paimon, who had tried to stop the conversation, instantly felt a little awkward.

She could only mutter to herself, "Uh… guess I was overthinking it…"

By now, Shao Yun and Lumine had finished making their wishes, and he noticed Paimon's defeated expression.

The corner of Shao Yun's mouth curved upward slightly. He reached out and gently flicked Paimon on the forehead, laughing teasingly,

"Haha, Paimon really is still a kid, so she thinks everyone else is just as pure as she is."

Watching Shao Yun and Paimon joke around with each other, Lynette felt a strange emotion rise in her heart for reasons she couldn't quite explain.

She quietly observed the two of them, a hint of envy showing in her eyes, and softly sighed, "It's obvious you take very good care of her."

Shao Yun suddenly heard Lynette say something out of the blue, but her voice was too soft for him to catch clearly.

"What?"

However, Lynette simply shook her head lightly, her expression unchanged, and said calmly, "Let's hurry to the Opera Epiclese. My brother is waiting for you in the lobby…"

Seeing this, Shao Yun didn't press further and quickly led Lumine and Paimon after her.

Following Lynette around Fountain of Lucine, they arrived at the Opera Epiclese.

The outer walls of the opera house were entirely built from flawless white marble, their carefully polished surfaces as smooth as mirrors, clearly reflecting the brilliant sunlight.

From afar, the entire building radiated a dazzling glow that was almost blinding.

On both sides of the structure, rows of tall, imposing colonnades were connected, adding a sense of solemnity and grandeur to the whole.

Overall, the Opera Epiclese was undoubtedly a refined work of art, fully showcasing Fontaine's pursuit of artistry.

Shao Yun was so stunned by the sight that he spaced out for a moment.

After quite some time, he finally came back to his senses, then took out the notebook he always carried with him, preparing to record this beautiful scene.

While he was fully focused on sketching, Lumine, Paimon, and Lynette nearby were engaged in an animated discussion.

Suddenly, Paimon's voice shot up an octave as she exclaimed in surprise, "Really? You're not trying to scare me, are you?!"

Right after that, Lumine nodded firmly and replied, "Of course I'm not scaring you. I definitely heard that voice just now—could it really be an auditory hallucination?"

After listening to Lumine's description of the so-called "hallucination," Lynette thought for a moment and then explained seriously,

"This may not be a true hallucination, but rather the result of your unusually strong sensitivity to the Hydro element…"

"In fact, someone in my family once experienced something similar."

Hearing this, Paimon couldn't help but recall their experience of gaining Dendro power when they first arrived in Sumeru, and her heart tightened.

"Then could there be some hidden danger? Like suddenly fainting without any warning?"

Lynette looked slightly puzzled and gently shook her head. "Fainting? I've never personally witnessed that symptom…"

Seeing that even Lynette wasn't very certain, Paimon grew even more worried. She frowned and said, "Should we tell Shao Yun about this?"

At this, Lumine nodded slightly in agreement and continued, "Yeah, telling him should be fine…"

"But based on our experience in Sumeru, as long as I adapt for another day or two, it should be okay."

Lumine appeared rather calm about the matter. After all, even if she really did faint again like she had in Sumeru, with Shao Yun and Paimon by her side, nothing too serious was likely to happen.

At that moment, Paimon turned her head toward Shao Yun, just about to speak—

—and then she saw Shao Yun sketching away.

Paimon showed a helpless expression and muttered, "Alright… you're drawing again."

Then, with a tone mixing mild complaint and curiosity, she continued, "I really don't get it. After all this time, what kind of weird stuff have you even been writing in that notebook of yours…"

Hearing Paimon's words, Shao Yun's pencil paused slightly, but he quickly regained his composure and finished the final strokes.

Then he turned around, looking at Paimon's sulky face, and asked with concern, "What's wrong? You look like someone upset you."

Paimon gently shook her head and waved her hands, explaining, "It's nothing serious. Even if there is something, as long as you're around, it'll probably all get solved anyway."

"So, it's not anything important. Let's hurry and go inside!"

With that, she followed Lumine and Lynette forward.
