Chapter 91 - Chapter 90: What Lightning is truly capable of!

'Lightning Style:Kirin'

A mythical creature, forged entirely of lightning, dominated the skies of Asgard—a colossal chimera.

Kakashi stood with his hand raised, his right Mangekyo Sharingan glowing, guiding the lightning.

He was using his Mangkyou ability 'Ikazuchi no Mai' to control the beast. The jutsu was too volatile but with this ability, he could control this beast like it was a simple B rank lightning dragon jutsu. It has also reduced the chakra cost of the jutsu.

The chimera twisted, its tail lashing, sending sparks raining down, each sizzling as it struck the ground.

Kakashi knew that learning this jutsu was made easy with this ability. He could use this jutsu similar to a Earth Golem just made of lightning and something that could fly.

"This is what Lightning is truly capable off, if you can control its power." Kakashi said to Thor.

---Frigga P.O.V---

Frigga was sitting beside her Odin's sleeping self when she turned to look at the roof as if she could see beyond it.

"What a terrifying control over lightning! I think that you made the right choice husband. If you were younger, You might have defeated him easily but right now he is the only hope to save Asgard from the prophesied Ragnarok." Frigga muttered to the sleeping Odin.

Frigga knew that if Odin and Kakashi had fought for longer in their battle, Odin had lower chances of winning. Even if he won, he would have to use a lot of Odin Force. His body would not have been able to handle the stress of using such power at his age.

'But as the power of his eyes grows, He would become an entity that even my husband would not have been able to fight in his prime. Who knows what other mysteries those eyes have?' Frigga thought.

She then smiled. She knew that her son Thor had a lot of potential. He was someone who could become stronger than Odin. If there is anyone that could help him access the full strength of his divinity, it was Kakashi.

----Back at the training field---

Thor, hovering with Mjolnir, stared in awe, his thoughts overwhelmed. 'This… is power. He is controlling so much of lightning like it's nothing. My lightning attacks look almost funny in comparison to this.'

'If he drops that lightning beast towards the Asgard, I don't think the wards and runes would do much to stop it. It would reduce to nothing but rubble.' Thor had an horrifying realisation.

"Is this something I am capable of doing?" he asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.

Kakashi nodded, "Yes."

'And much more is possible with how strong his lightning-aligned chakra is. It must have something to do with his divinity. God of Thunder and all.'

His mind deepened. 'I'm pretty sure his divinity would allow him to summon, use and control lightning in great amounts.'

Thor was humbled as he looked at the massive creature made of lightning. His grip on Mjolnir loosening. "I surrender, Midgardian. I don't think there is anyone else who would be able to teach me to use thunder and lightning like you. Not even God-King Zeus himself."

Kakashi nodded, 'Objective one: complete.' The lightning serpent dissipated, its arcs fading as he released the jutsu, his Mangekyo dimming.

Kakashi had asked for a spar for two main reason. One reason was to get the handle on their skills levels and other to demonstrate the skill gap and establish his authority as their teacher.

The Warriors Three—Fandral, Hogun, Volstagg—and Sif had surrendered too.

Kakashi did not waste time and started with their training.

He summoned three shadow clones to guide the Warrior three while he himself started sparring with Lady Sif.

He approached Sif, her broken sword replaced with a training blade. Kakashi drew his White Light Chakra Sabre.

Sif lunged. Kakashi parried effortlessly. "Keep your stance tighter," he advised, deflecting a slash. "You're leaving your flank open."

Sif nodded as she adjusted according to his advice.

After few more minutes of sparring and giving Advice, Kakashi stopped.

"Keep practicing with the forms that I have taught you."

Kakashi moved to Thor, who waited further away, Mjolnir in hand.

Kakashi said, "You rely too much on your hammer. Let's force out your lightning-aligned chakra from your body." He handed Thor a leaf. "Try to force your power through it."

Thor curiously looked at the lead as he tried to channel his internal energy as he was taught during his younger years.

He channeled his energy, lightning sparking from his fingers. The leaf ignited, crumbling to ash.

Kakashi stared at the charred remains,

' Does he have Fire affinity instead?' He dismissed it, 'No, it's his lack of control.'

He handed Thor a dozen new leaves, his voice calm. "Your new goal is to use lightning to wrinkle this leaf rather than burning it. It'll teach you control."

Kakashi continued, "Focus on channeling a steady, low current. Imagine it flowing like water, not bursting like a storm. Wrinkle the leaf, don't destroy it."

Thor nodded.

With that Kakashi stepped to the sidelines as he decided take a walk through Asgardian garden.

As Kakashi was walking, his instincts flared, as he snapped to alert.

A battle axe swung for his neck, its blade gleaming with Asgardian steel.

Kakashi's kunai flashed up, blocking it with a clang, sparks flying. The attacker, a towering Asgardian, glared, "Mistress thinks you are worthy of her. But I doubt it."
