Kakashi saw Tony and Bobby taking out Pyro and Natasha taking out Psylocke. He was happy at Natasha's combat prowess now.
Anyways with them finishing their fights, Kakashi could rest easy about them and they could help the others finish their own fight while he kept himself busy keeping Apocalypse at bay.
Kakashi knew that he would have to go full force with his Mangekyō abilities if he has to win this fight. The fight was at a stalement as it was now.
It was not that he was not able to injure Apocalypse but all injuries were quickly getting healed. It was as if he was fighting someone with Lady Tsunade or Sakura's abilities.
'With his regeneration, the only hope of me stopping him is from going after his head and cutting it off his neck and the last option is sealing him. But I don't have any strong sealing jutsu either that would hold him up,' Kakashi thought trying to find a way to counter Apocalypse's regeneration.
Most of the sealing jutsu that he knew were either to seal tailed beasts or temporarily take someone out of the fight. The temporary ones would not be able to hold Apocalypse for long. So his only option was to either think of something else or develop a sealing jutsu for an immortal on the spot.
'I can try using what Shikamaru and done with Hidan. But that guy had only his immortality in his favour and did not have the breath of the abilities that Apocalypse has. He could climb his way out of the ground and punch through any sealing barriers I place.' Kakashi thought
On the plus side, He had already found a good way to counter Apocalypse's telekinesis.
Something that he managed to find out when he was training with Jean to help her with her abilities before Apocalypse came to get Charles.
Telekinesis seemed to be a magical ability or just an ability that was very common in the multiverse. He had seen Ancient One and even Madame Gao of the Hand use it.
Kakashi thought such an ability was too overpowered to just move another person without any consent or just squish them like a bug with a wave of a hand. So he knew there has to be a counter to it and he checked his theories while training with Jean.
Kakashi needed to find a way to counter it and thus he started covering his body with chakra to counter the telekinetic energy. And it worked.
Telekinesis can pick up things but it can't pick up energy. By covering himself on the outside with energy, telekinesis stopped affecting him.
He only covered himself with a thin layer of chakra that did not empower him which made it less straining on his chakra reserves and thus he could maintain it without fearing about a lot of chakra expenditure. The chakra acted as the barrier to whatever telekinetic energy was being used. Telekinesis could not work on energy after all.
'So I can counter his telekinesis. I can skip his barrier with Kamui and his other abilities could also be dodged by Kamui. The only thing I need to do is to counter his regeneration to win this fight,' Kakashi thought.
Kakashi decided to test things out like how far could that regeneration go and if there was an energy cost to it or not.
Kakashi blinked with his Mangekyō Sharingan as he used Raijin no Taiko.
A shockwave was unleashed that travelled towards Apocalypse.
Apocalypse did not expect an invisible attack in the form of a shockwave and thus could not put up the barrier. He was sent flying back.
Before he could recover and in midair Kakashi was upon him. A glowing orb in his hand that turned bigger by the second.
And then Kakashi slammed into Apocalypse midair, sending him tumbling into the ground with a large explosion of chakra.
"Giant Rasengan."
Kakashi backed away as he saw the carnage. Apocalypse had wounds on his face and parts where his armor was not covering him but his armor looked mostly fine.
'Now that's some durable armor,' Kakashi thought. He could see that Apocalypse was already healing.
Kakashi thought, 'It's time that I use the original Mangekyō ability of my Sharingan. I have neglected using that ability in favour of my other Mangekyō abilities. Let's see if he can regenerate if his limbs or even his head is in another dimension.'
Kakashi focused on Apocalypse's head as he muttered "Kamui."
Apocalypse seemed to sense the danger and just about moved a little before a spatial vortex erupted from where his arm was and then it was gone.
Kakashi did not feel as much strain as he felt using this jutsu before he came to the world. When he used Kamui in this fashion during the fourth great shinobi war, he always faced severe headache,chakra exhaustion and increasing blindness.
But now it was just chakra expenditure that has been reduced by a lot too. This had made Kakashi theory of him having Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan somehow by travelling between realities true.
Apocalypse looked in horror as his shoulder and arm disappeared. Blue blood leaked from the wound.
He then looked in rage at Kakashi. "Now you have done it mortal."
