Edward White walked into the living room: "Mom, Dad, I'm back."
"You still know how to come back, do you!" Juliette Carter glared at her son, irritated because she had been fighting with her husband.
She found even the sight of Edward troublesome, yet he had inherited his father's genes, becoming very handsome, so Juliette reluctantly softened her tone, "Edward, have you been to Sovereign Empire these past few days?"
Edward walked in, sat down on the sofa, and replied softly, "Yes."
As the sole heir of the White Group and the eldest son of the White Family, he had always been proud, with his parents generally accommodating his wishes.
"Where's Ella?" Jefferson White finally spoke after being silent, looking at Edward, "Why didn't you bring your sister back from Sovereign Empire?"
Even knowing she's not his biological daughter, Jefferson still missed her, seeing as both siblings have been away from home long-term, certainly a longing this time.
