It's really freaking cold in this car!
"Have you eaten?" Lucas Knight pretended as if nothing had happened, his pleasant voice more alluring than usual, alone all night with her, a lot could have happened.
He didn't know why his hand was trembling a bit; he knew he couldn't lose his temper because doing so would mean losing her. Thus, he tried hard to control his emotions.
The man whose moods were usually inscrutable now showed no emotional ripple, not even the slightest trace of it.
"Eat... Haven't eaten!" She had breakfast at Shallow Water Bay, just ate a couple of bites randomly.
She hasn't had lunch yet.
"And you?" she asked Lucas Knight.
"I haven't either," he coolly glanced at her, "Then let me take you to eat something."
When he saw her face, an astonishing shine of fascination flashed in his eyes. This woman was indeed a Fairy. Did Liam Coldwell really do nothing with her?
The temperature inside the car dropped again.
