That glance, the depths of his eyes slightly worn.
"Boss X, there's another soirée in the north of the city tonight, would you like to attend?" Number 2 asked politely.
"It was supposed to be held the day before yesterday, but that day you went to see Madam Eliana, so it was postponed to today." It was originally planned to cancel today as well, thinking Boss X might continue to stay with Madam Eliana, but unexpectedly, just received a call from the boss.
Number 2 hadn't had the chance to cancel that soirée.
So now, asked politely.
"Let's go."
The boss has spoken.
Number 2: "Yes, I'll drive us over now."
It took everyone half an hour to reach the hotel in the north of the city.
Upon arrival, the soirée was just starting; seeing Boss X's sudden arrival, those tycoons were extremely surprised and invited him inside.
Half an hour passed, and Eva Nightingale, Lucas Knight, Edward White, and Ella White were all settled.
