"How could a despicable woman like you be worthy?" Aidan Reed said with such heartlessness, "You were never even worth my attention, Candice Yansford. Don't overestimate yourself! Understand?"
He walked away with cold and unfeeling indifference.

Half an hour later.
Eden Walker, supported by the servants, walked upstairs straight to the room where Candice was kidnapped.
The room, once full of decadence, had already been cleaned.
Eden walked in with an air of nobility; this woman dressed in designer brands, appearing extremely upscale and arrogant, was Candice's stepmother. Despite her outward elegance and extreme beauty, even possessing the demeanor of a wealthy wife, she was truly a woman with a heart as venomous as a viper!
Beneath her glamorous exterior, she hid a heart more ruthless than any scorpion!
"Smack!" As soon as she entered, Eden raised her hand and slapped Candice's face heavily, "Bitch!"
"..." Five finger marks were left reddened on her face.
