After waiting for a full twenty minutes, Rong Qingqing finally finished her breakfast and leisurely came out of the dining room.
"Why are you still here?"
Seeing the person sitting stiffly in the living room, Rong Qingqing blurted out.
"Waiting for you," Shen Jue got up, "Waiting for you to pay attention to me."
Rong Qingqing stopped in her tracks, awkwardly fidgeting with her fingers.
She really didn't expect Shen Jue to wait for her in the living room.
"I'll get off work early in the afternoon and take you out for dinner. After dinner, we can watch a movie outside before coming back. How does that sound?"
Shen Jue walked over to Rong Qingqing and gently patted her head, "Don't be upset."
Shen Jue wasn't exactly the most skilled at comforting people, but with a deliberately gentle tone, he managed to lift Rong Qingqing's bad mood that had lasted all night.
