Francesca Willis came out of the kitchen holding a plate of fruit, just in time to see Samuel Gren leaving. Her face immediately fell, and she let out a cold snort as she headed for the living room.
"He's always throwing a tantrum, doesn't he know who this family relies on now? That daughter of his is almost ruining him."
Francesca spoke with disdain.
Previously, she depended on Samuel Gren to live, relying on him to earn money and support the family, allowing her to enjoy a prosperous life.
But now, she was relying on her precious daughter.
Not only that, even Samuel Gren was relying on her daughter, wasn't he?
And yet he dared to give her daughter the cold shoulder; just thinking about it made her angry.
"Mom, don't say that. No matter what, Bella Green is his daughter. After all, I'm just an adopted daughter, so it's normal for him not to like me."
Anna Green said indifferently.
Even though she said so, she still felt a bit upset inside.
